1- the shower went from a normal temperature in one second to an extreme hot (burning) temperature. So you literally had to jump from (under) out of the shower.2- breakfast was poor. Apart from the fact that it was in short supply, there was no variety and little choice in what was served.: cheese, ham and wurst and a few options for jam (not fresch) and yogurt in a box.We had to ask for croissants and bread, almost every morning, because every time we arrived at the breakfast table (at different times), it seemed to be finished. We asked (twice) for a little more variation like natural fresh yogurt, but this was not possible.3- Apart from a short âmorgenâ there was no personal contact, no warm welcome. A distant staff and service.Possitive:Large, quiet room and bathroom; plenty of privacy.Fine for one night (short stay).

We have been many times over the last 10 years that we visit Austria. The food and wines are always of high quality. There is a chef owner in the kitchen with lots of experience. Quality does not come cheap.

Very good food, they have vegan daily menu with a few options and it costs around 10 Euro (soup + second), nice service.

I have eaten here multiple times already and was never disappointed by the food or service. Everything I tried I can recommend. The carpacio with morzarella and tomato's is a little to much flavor variety for one plate. Last time I had a rump steak on Styrian groestl, that was just awesome! Just the road up there can be a little adventures as it's not wide and steap at some parts. Taxi or walking recommended for persons that are not used to drive up a hill ;)

It's your typical fish restaurant, all wooden and very "rural" with stuffed animals staring at you all around. They basically offer trouts (forellen) and other river/lake fish done in a million ways (my favourite: almond panade!), and you can also buy fresh ones for take out. The best is the lake that lies in front of the restaurant, with a beuatiful view of the mountains! Prices are ok for the region, around 10 euros per fish, side dish included. There is also a dog that lives there so make sure you cuddle him!
