The restaurant is open from Monday lunch to Sunday lunch, and 7 days a week for lunch & dinner in July and August. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner to spend a relaxing, convivial moment and enjoy a change of scenery. Traditional cuisine awaits
The hotel has a nice, relaxing vibe due to the tasteful decor and being amidst the mountains with some lovely views. Although it's on a busy street, the hotel is nestled far enough back from the road so traffic noise is minimal. Be sure to ask to see your room first. Glad we did as we were going to be put in a tiny box room! Also note that they charge â¬10 for breakfast which is exorbitant for what is on offer. Just cured meat and cheese. No fresh fruit or similar. Also quite peculiar is that the toilet is behind a closed door but the sink and shower area are in the open bedroom, hence affording you no privacy if you're sharing with someone. In other words, you can be watched while in the shower from anywhere in the room. Finally, this hotel's major downfall is it's staff. Olivier was particularly rude, unhelpful, and unfriendly especially at check-in. This wasn't appreciated after a lengthy journey. The other staff were primarily servers. They were friendly-ish but were young (they appeared in their teens and early 20s) rendering them with little confidence to engage appropriately. Definitely wouldn't return or recommend to fellow travellers.

These are the issues that are important to me in a restaurant:FRESH WELL PREPARED FOOD - Yes, the food was fresh and properly preparedSERVICE - Good, friendly, helpful and promptCHARM - OK, not grim, not cuteLOCATION - Center of town easy to findI would return. The region, in my experience, doesn't have the best food. But this restaurant does the trick.

Arrived with trip advisor in hand to locate the perfect restaurant. No.1 was fully booked ! F%#* em!Next on the list - closed .... blah blah No.9 was open and free!Thank goodness. Starters nothing special but 8⬠for 500ml housewine (fabulous) and then the pièce de résistance main course ! Fab !!!The fact that some gypsies were setting up a street stand didn't phase me in the slightest! My only regret is not staying long enough to see the final product

Nice terrace to eat outside. Small menu; quite limited for vegetarians although there was one fish starter and one fish main course when we were there. we had a tuna main course which was difficult to describe; the vegetables were meant to be crunchy (and were, sort of) but they were white and difficult to identify.

19E menu includes two courses. Great price for the quality of the food which is outstanding. Great care taken to detail in each plate. Steak was slightly tough but flavor was great. Smiling, happy service and warm atmosphere. Thank you See you soonLGDA

We went in August to Les Peupliers with 2 young kids and had a nice dinner. There aren't many good restaurants in the surroundings of Embrun and this is certainly one of the better ones. The food is good and prices are fair. The service is also good, although not all dishes arrived at the same time. The chef is trying to make something special of each dish. We can surely recommend the restaurant.

In the centre of the ski resort Les Orres 1650, this restaurant offers a very French welcome and warm hospitality. The dining room is nice and cosy with a traditional interior and loads of atmosphere. It serves mainly Alpine regional specialities including fondues and gratins and uses local ingredients. We enjoyed a Fondue aux Morilles which was delicious. Though plentiful, the bread pieces were a little stale for our taste. We followed this by the dessert of the day which was an enormous slice of Tarte Tatin. See our full review of the ski resort of Les Orres in the southern Alps on mountainpassions.com

The winter lounge was populated by après skiers for after ski drinks. The re is also a serious side of the business a first class restaurant, service a wide menu choice, from steaks to fondue . We decided to try and booked a table for four the following evening. We were not disappointed we choose the traditional fondue, for four, it cam plentiful and was delicious and enjoyed by all. A Good choice of wine from the wine list, but we were completely satisfied with the house wine having two carafes, dinner was complimented by good choice of starters and desserts. Highly recommended excellent service fast and efficient. Safely we left it late to find the delights of this restaurant, but would recommend it is your first

This restaurant is situated just outside the ski area in Les Orres. It has a genuine atmosphere and seem to be frequented by the locals, which it a good sign. We took the Mont d'Or with charcuteries and it was very tasty as was the Crème Caramel we had afterwards. We would like to come back.
