The Rock is a spirit of accommodation, immersion in a universe. An atypical décor that leaves room for a selected and quality cuisine. We favor the maximum short supply chains and working with fresh and cooked products on time, they can cause the wait or
Friendly waiter, quick service and wide range of dishes on the menu. Nice view on the beach. Interior decoration is great, especially the toilet. Will definitely go back.

Restaurant de specialites italiennes, terrasse ombragee, salle climatisee, decor moderne.
We thought we would go a little 'up market' in the restaurants near Carqueiranne's port as it was a special occasion. The meal was absolutely lovely, uncomplicated Italian cooking done very well. The service was friendly and faultless. As a bonus for late September it was warm enough to eat on the terrace, occupied otherwise by French diners all enjoying the food. We had booked as it was a Saturday, but other people were coming past 10pm without bookings. We each had the 39 euro menu, with one dish modified slightly at my wife's request to suit her taste. The home made pasta and the foie gras were excellent and the tiramisu was light and quite one of the best I've had. With sparkling water, a beer, a juice and a glass of house wine, the bill was 98 euros which was not much more than lesser meals served nearby.

Nicely located authentic French restaurant. In order to be 5 star, make the portions smaller and garnish the entrees with some small colourfull things instead of a lot of salad, so I could finish the ratatouille served with the main dish, which was really tasty. So sometimes less is more . For all you reader out there, make sure you leave some room for the chocolate cake as desert! You would be stupid to miss out on that one.

Me and my friend visited this restaurant as a part of our Provence gastronomic tour in July 2017. Well, the location was really nice and the views were wonderful. First we were invited to the open terrace for some drinks before the dinner. The compliment from chief was amazing. We were in the anticipation with pleasures of this "highly-recommended" restaurant from Michelin guide.. We were wrong, so wrong... After the drinks the waiters start inviting the guests to their tables. Our table were situated far-far-away from the beautiful views, just at the passageway with the only view to the poor faded banana tree and broken glass with flower at our table. When we were told the restaurant manager we don't like the table at all, she answered us that that's because we've booked the table just a week ago, not a month ago like other guests (!!!), and they don't have any other tables. Despite this outrageous discrimination (yes, I call it discrimination when the person booked later gets the table with the broken vase and poor banana tree view) we have decided to stay looking forward brilliantly cooked food that would overshadow all the inconvenience. Well, it's not. At all. Vice versa. The most of the food was too salty, pashot egg was super sour (guys, it's 21 century, now most of the restaurants cook these eggs without so much vinaigre). To be fair, shrimps were ok, but all the rest was a disaster. But we were still optimistic - the desert was coming, probably it would fix the situation. It came... And... Voilà ! We had a rarely chance to enjoy the dessert with rotten strawberry! Ãchec et mat!Biggest disappointment I've ever had from the restaurant mentioned in Michelin guide.Dear Anna P,We would like to thank you for the time you spend sharing your impressions on Tripadvisor. We regret to read such a comment regarding your experience at Les Pins Penchés. We took good note of all your feedback and feel really concerned about your disappointment. Please be assured that those inconvenients are not indicative of the high level that we usually offer to all of our guest.I am sorry that you were not satisfied with the table that was reserved for you. Indeed, our property was booked through previous reservations prior to yours. That is why we do hope you will understand us.Kind regards,MarieCommunication & Quality Assistant in Les Maisons Lelièvre family group

We had dinner here yesterday and is was fantastic from beginning to end. We were very nicely received and were walked through each option on the menu. We chose to share the starter then both had the speciality of the restaurant, a hot stone on which to cook our meat and fish. They even have exotic meat, I had a kangaroo steak! The whole concept is custom made for the place, giving us a very unique experience.Highly recommended, its delicious!

Placed in the middle of the central square with tables outside - its summer. The carte isnt very long but covers the basics, meaning salads, fish and meats. We were 10 people and ate almost only meat. All liked the cote de boeuf and the entrecote. I myself was a bit disappointed of the hamburger, it was dull and the folowing fries soft. The only beer was Heineken - some variety would have been nice. The wine list was a bit longer and focused on local producers - and it tasted great. Service was ok, but english not the best - better try your school french.

Although it was a little pricey, the food was great. For starters, the calmari was excellent. It was fresh and lightly fried. For the entree, my wife had the "fried" fish plate and I had the special burger. No complaints. The bartender even warmed up some water for our baby's bottle. No complaints.
