Charming little restaurant, open from february to october. Its outdoor dining area gives view to the sea and to a huge lawn with palm trees. The refined and tasty chef's cuisine(the owner himself)offers excellent value for money. Set menus at 13 ⬠(lunch
Good choice of dishes on the menu, and also a less traditional choice of ingredients. Notwithstanding the fact the restaurant is located in a very touristic village, nearby the beach and in full holiday season it gets pretty busy in a short time span, the quality of the food was outstanding, the service accurate and professional (could be a little bit warmer) and the pricing correct. One of the better choices in this place.

A nice atmosphere in this restaurant. I think they do what they offer very well. It is a simple menu but at â¬13.50 for the plat du jour, there is nothing to complain about.

The city scape is dreary concrete slabs. The French have a knack for screwing up their more modern marina.beachfront venues. Fortunately, they haven't forgotten how to cook. This upstairs restaurant is a fine emporium for fresh and artfully prepared fish and shellfish. The clientele is full of regulars, both retirees and younger couples, and the waitstaff is led by a classic old time waiter and several apprentices. You can count on fresh and excellent marine life, coupled with a respectable wine list. This is a good place to have a boat, a slice of the sun and a lovely selection of the best local seafood.

Strange marriage of high class cuisine in a small run down type café atmosphere. 19/20 for presentation of food. 16/20 for taste, choice and mix of flavours (lots of cream in the cooking). 18/20 for service. 5/20 for atmosphere. We visited the restaurant for lunch in November 2016. No special lunch menu. Quality/price wasnât good because of this. Over 90 Euros for a light meal with very little wine for 3 people. No credit cards accepted but this is highlighted on the menu board. Maybe they take them now?? The restaurant accepted a French bank cheque as payment. A second visit â canât decide ???

We had the lunch menu (starter, main course, dessert), and for 14 EUR, you couldn't ask for much better: good food, well presented... The quantities were just fine for us, but if you have a big appetite, you might find the portions not big enough.Although the restaurant is located on the 1st floor, there is no view on the nearby sea, but there is a terrasse sheltered by an old tree and a veranda as well as an indoor area.Since m boyfriend and I didn't choose the same option, I got to try both starters and main courses and they were equally good (cod/beef)... The rest of the menu sounded good too, dishes are French cuisine with a mediterranean touch to it.I was there near the end of the summer season and noticed the restaurant is also open all year round, a nice thing in a small beach resort! We'll definitely give a try to their main menu next time we're there (evening 3 course menu for 28 EUR I think)...

Spécialités de viandes fermières cuites par vos soins sur pierre chaude. Servies avec petite salade du marché en entrée... Accompagnent de saison et sauces faites maison.
We were staying locally and looking for a restaurant that was not sea food heavy. This place was perfect, really nice decoration and a very relaxed atmosphere. The married couple who own and work are very friendly and made us feel very welcome, we had called to make a reservation which I would recommend as you do not want to miss out on eating here. The restaurant specialty is to serve meat / fish with a hot stone on which you cook the food - brilliant!!

The food was quick to come and when it did, it was simple but effective. Great ingredients and super tastes. My calamari with squid ink spaghetti was delicious. The waitress was kind and welcoming too. The price was extremely reasonable. 5 stars.

Nice little restaurant away from the main hassle and bustle. Used mainly by French.Because it is a short distance away from the main drag it is a little cheaper.Nicely decorated and very clean.Menu is limited, but that did not matter because the food was great! So much so that we went back there again. Each time we both had meals from the cheaper â¬14.50 menu.Portion sizes were just right, not small and fancy, and not wastefully large.

Restaurant, catering, seafood. Le Vivier is open year was close to the city center of Grau du Roi. Modern, traditional cooking, fresh food and homemade! Shellfish, seafood, and any catering dishes using produce from the sea. Fresh fish in season. On site
Going in family. Great service, dishes? Just wonderful. Avoid the restaurants of the harbour, and try this jewel.
