Our Cuisine: The spirit of welcome has permeated the very essence of the Grand Hotel des Bains since its origin. As a family run hotel, we want our guests to feel really at home here. We like the good things in life, and we like to share them with our gue
WE ate here twice. We only wanted to eat here once but had to a second time as the other restaurants in the port were closed on a Monday. Both meals were superb: French cuisine of the highest order with service to match, but not the overly superior style you used to get but professional and friendly and very much in the old-school style. Decent choice on the menu (but seafood didn't feature as highly as it could have done) with dished prepared with flair and style, well cooked using the best produce. Ample space between tables. The set menu was 39 Euros and represented very good value for money considering. Comfortable bar with roaring fire (most of the time in the evening) even in the summer.Dear Captain Picard,Thank you very much for your kind review, and thank you also for sharing it with the world! We are pleased to read you have recognized and enjoyed our fine cuisine, in a good atmosphere. We do have to admit that sometimes we use the fireplace in the summer time. Brittany...We are looking forward to welcoming you back soon. Please receive our Best Regards,Amaury LEGRAND

Just returned from this lovely refurbished restaurant above the beach at Beg Leguer, Lannion. First time for our friends who were really impressed with the location AND the food!! The waitresses were very polite and friendly, one of whom spoke perfect English which can be useful for the English speaking tourists. The sky was blue with a welcoming breeze so perfect for dining al fresco! We shall of course be returning next month with the family and hopefully we will fall lucky with similar weather. Compliments to the chef and service staff. An added bonus since the refurb is the restaurant now accepts bank card! The interior dining overlooks the beach and sea with uninterrupted views ..... just perfect. A real gem!

Wonderful little restaurant, had some lovely meals here, excellent for couples or families. Good range of dishes and very generous portions. Buffet cold starters of excellent quality four courses for under 20 euros. Buffet Moules/Frites on a thu nite. Nothing super posh but excellent little restaurant.

After being effectively turned away from a half-empty cafe further up the hill in the Centre-Ville of Lannion, we were delighted to be welcomed into this busy restaurant two streets down the hill. The service was excellent, the food was tasty, and the atmosphere in the little courtyard at the back of the restaurant was great. The menu was varied in the Breton fashion, and the Moules Frites options lived up to expectations. One of our party had an excellent beef burger which was also good.

We stumbled upon this little gem whilst looking for somewhere to eat on Lannion's very busy market day. Luckily the restaurant were able to squeeze us in. As a vegetarian, I was happy to find a "vegetarian" restaurant in France. The concept of the restaurant is great. You choose your own starter from a selection, and there is a choice of two main courses, meat or vegetarian. Desserts and drinks are also self-service, and all reasonably priced, with the type of wide and interesting selection one would expect to find in such a restaurant. It's not fine dining, but it is good, wholesome food in a relaxed and friendly environment. The food was excellent, high quality, fresh and tasty. The service was also really, really good. There is a reason this place is so busy, so make sure you make a reservation.

Unlike so many other restaurants, Le Tire Bouchon makes a definite statement about its cuisine: no fries, no sauce! Our first visit was on a sunny lunchtime in early September, where a close examination of the various "formules" on offer excited our curiosity, especially since to seniors such as we, all the options seemed to offer good value for money. Others must have thought the same because the only table available was in the street. We sat down and were promptly given a menu from which we could choose a-la-carte or a formule. My wife and I both ordered from the formule menu, and I do remember our choices were well-presented and tasted delicious. The service too was very good, so much so that at the end of our meal, we made a reservation to return in a few weeks and try an evening sitting. And we did. Again we were seated promptly, and again we received the same friendly service - this time our waiter clearly spoke better English than we spoke French! I ordered from the Formule 22 menu and chose the smoked salmon with dill for my entree (delicious); for my main I chose the pork belly with a creamy mushroom sauce and boiled, small new potatoes (excellent); and for dessert I guiltily chose a nougat ice-cream topped with raspberry sauce (annoyingly more-ish!) My wife had a pork terrine for her entree and a main course of mini-scallops, rice, caramelised onions and a small lettuce salad. Her verdict? Excellent! The wine list was fairly extensive but (as usual) we played safe and went with the house red, a merlot. At Euro 7.50 for 50cl it too was well worth the money! So a little gem in Lannion - thoroughly recommended.

I have never been disappointed here. The quality/price is very good, we are warmly welcomed by professionals who are cool, have a witty tongue but are eager to fulfill our requirements.Of course the pizza is not a specific briton dish, but it is so good here I never forget to come at lunch or at dinner during my holidays. The service is excellent and good humored.A restaurant not to miss.
