Lovely food... we had the scallops (cooked to perfection) and served in butternut sauce and chestnuts, the 'Riz de Veau with Farz' was very tasty and the tournedos very tender. The chocolate fondant with passion fruit was delightful. Would definitely recommend.

We stumbled upon this place.....nice atmosphere and busy on a Monday evening. Good choice of beers especially. Food limited to two daily specials and 3-4 other choices. Nicely done, friendly and quite cheap / good value. We spent 35⬠with 2 beers each and 2 courses.

We dined here on a Friday evening, table booked in advance, Food was of good standard, we both had scallops to start cooked perfectly with Filet of Julien and pork for main course, again cooked very well, the restaurant was very busy with seemingly many return customers which is always a good sign. There is also has a Cave next door as part of the business so the restaurant has a massive wine list for those who know their wines. Service was good with the head waiter being mildly eccentric but pleasant. Whilst not being my favourite place in Lorient I'd still comfortably recommend it as somewhere to spend an evening out for a good dining experience.

Our hotelier recommended this place. We got a table no problem even without a reservation on a busy Saturday night. The decor is modern and quite chic. The menu is only in French but we got help from the waitress and ordered. The service was efficient and the food generally very good although my steak could have been a bit more tender. We will definitely return on our next visit to Lorient next summer.

Wonderful proprietor and staff, nothing was to much trouble for them. They catered for a vegetarian (not the easiest thing in France) and we had great food and a great time, thoroughly recommended.

This rather characterful restaurant is very close to the inner marina at Lorient. We were there during the Interceltique festival and the weather was very wet and windy. The staff were helpful and very cheerful despite the adverse conditions. We ate a nicely cooked and presented meal accompanied by the house wine at a very reasonable price .

Although not the prettiest street in Lorient, the minute you walk in the door of Le Tire Bouchon you are in a comfortable and relaxing place. The attention to detail is obvious and this is reflected in the food. Classically french, beautifully presented and tastes as good as it looks. It is a small restaurant (bijou I think is the word), maybe no more than 25 covers, but the tables are well spaced and offer privacy without loosing atmosphere. You can choose from set menus (â¬30 to â¬42) or á la carte and an the wine list offers an excellent range at reasonable prices. A great place for both small groups and couples and if you are looking for a romantic evening, then this is the place. You can expect to pay some â¬40 to â¬60 per head but I suggest that this is good value for this standard of food. Highly recommended.

This was a great discovery in a town where decent food can be found, but not so often great food.the cuisine was interesting and well prepared. The choice of wines excellent. Definitely a place to eat well and relax over a good meal. I suppose you could be fast as they are efficient, but it would be a pity not to enjoy the food at leisure.Mister,It is a pleasure for us to make our customers happy. We are nice to see that you have appreciate food and wine.Hope to see you soon in LE SABAYON.Le chef, David VINCENT
