A small cafe/restaurant with a external dining area in a vaulted zone under the belly of the historic buildings. It was a good place to find some welcome shade and refreshments on a scorching hot day - Buckwheat crepes, pastries, drinks and ice cream! We liked the funky tables decorated with old movie posters

This tiny restaurant serves lovely food at budget prices. It's location in the middle of the small town makes parking even the smallest car a bit of a challenge, but go for it! The food is worth the challenge!

We had a multi-course dinner at this restaurant; the food was very good and plentiful; and the server worked very hard to please the entire restaurant. This restaurant was recommended by our hotel, and it didn't disappoint. We ate salade nisoise, duck breast, and fries. There were a few families there with children.

Five of us came here whilst on a family holiday in Saint-Paul de Vence, having read the recommendations on TripAdvisor, and we weren't disappointed. The setting was beautiful, the ambience was great, the owner was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. Starters were great (two of us had the tasting menu, so sampled all three starters), three of us had the smoked trout, and two of us had the veal - all beautifully cooked, and generous portions. We finished up with the mousse, which was fantastic, and all washed down with some delicious wine. Three courses, including wine, for just over 35 euros per head, which we thought was reasonable. Highly recommended, and we would definitely return - thank you!

We dined here as it was recommended by our hotel's hostess ( Hotel Marc-Hery, reviewed elsewhere) and was within walking distance as we wanted to consume some lovely Cote de Provence wine too! The restaurant is simply presented, no fancy decor here. However, the welcome is warm and the menu varied without being too extensive. The food is more country style than gastronomic and slower, deeper cooking has produced rich and succulent flavours. My entree of snails served out of their shell in with mushrooms in superb, creamy sauce was superb. The beef and fish main courses were all fresh and high quality cuts. The place was full of local diners, always a good sign, and the service friendly and multilingual. It was good to eat and drink in a homely, locally used restaurant rather than the more trendy, touristy or gastronomic ones. Don't be put off by the simple decor, the food is wonderful.

We had dinner last Sunday and loved it. Each course was outstanding. We had an elderly sommelier with so much flair and charm that his younger colleagues should be aspiring to. Not to mention the amazing view overlooking Saint-Paul de Vence. I would go back again for sure.

Very much worth the visit. Starting with a lovely amuse bouche of golden beets, then with a rich and lovely consommé as a starter. We shared superbly cooked and flavoured lamb and beef main courses - both cooked rare and simply spot on. Not a step missed in the cooking and all courses were excellent with friendly and personal service and lovely seats outside. Highly recommended - c90 euros for the 4 of us including two large glasses of wine and soft drinks.

We have been regularly visiting this restaurant under Mr. Scordel, who's creativity and hospitality we've loved. After the ownership has changed we were not sure what to expect and waited few months before visiting the place. And... what a great surprise! It has not only kept all the positives from the past, but added a lot of fresh notes and superb ideas. Very creative, imaginary cuisine, superbly presented. Fresh, savory compositions, driven by the season, with some Basque twist but still very French in execution and presentation. If one looks for gastronomic experience, respecting best ingredients and seasons, combining eclectic ideas with very modern culinary attitude - it is a great place to visit. Very friendly and professional service helps to enjoy the pleasures of food. Last but not least - we have been very positively surprised by the price we paid. For the quality offered it was like a gift! All together it is one of the best offers in the area. A must to visit and experience. We will certainly come back. Highly recommended to all food lovers.Dear Madam , dear Sir, it is with a great pleasure that we read your fantastic comment about our establishment , for which we would like sincerely to thank you ! The waitress that served us was efficient, helpful and friendly. We had three perfectly cooked pave steaks that were very well priced. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and we very much enjoyed our visit and would definitely return. My only criticism was that they were showing American rodeo on television while we were eating, which was not to my taste!
