Discover Restaurants offering the best European food in Kutna Hora, Bohemia, Czech Republic. A popular daytrip destination from Prague, Kutna Hora offers spectacular faded grandeur without the capital's madding crowds. The financial center of Bohemia until the silver ore ran out, Kutna Hora once rivaled Prague's magnificence. The site of Wenceslas II's Royal Mint in 1308, the town was added to UNESCO's World Heritage list in 1996. Saint Barbara's cathedral and the eerie Kostnice bone church, decorated with disconcerting sculptures of the bones of plague victims, are main attractions.

The distinctive outdoor areas have a good atmosphere. Granted, we were there for lunch on a lovely day. The menu is unsurprising but the food was tasty, well-presented and plentiful. Service was very very slow. Even our aperitifs took a long time to arrive. On reflection, perhaps the geography of those charming outdoor areas hampers efficient service. But I do think they were also understaffed. Perhaps it was a bad day.

A very nice restaurant in the vicinity of St Barbara's Cathedral. We stopped by here after our church-visit for a light dinner.Of course we went for the local dishes and wines also.We were not let down, no chance getting disappointed here!!The food was all perfect. Well set on the plate and very very tasty. A real treat for one's taste buds indeed. They also even offered us to take the rest of the winebottle that we couldn't drink up with us!!! Very generous indeed - especially when it was a very tasty locally produced wine. Even I loved it and I'm no winedrinker - I prefer beer of the darker kind.Good food and excellent service! Go here if you have a chance! You'll love it

Warm smiley staff, it is noisier and buzzy upstairs, quieter but the same good food and service downstairs. Lots of steps for older people.Tried the red wine but to me unpalatable, so opted for the beer which was delicious.Started with lightly smoked trout, my companion had cheese balls both of which were tasty.I had leg of rabbit and my companion had the goulash, both again were fine.Throughout the staff were friendly interested and efficient.A most pleasant experience in a great location.

Since we stayed at this hotel, we enjoyed a nice cold beer after touring Kutna Hora and eating dinner some place else. There are 2 restaurants, one more casual and quiet (this is also used for breakfasts) and one with a more character and more noisy, it was very full and everyone was having fun it seemed. We were advised the restaurant is opened until 10.30 PM for dinner. There is also a terrace outside, overlooking the parking lot. Since it was quiet cold, no one was sitting there.

An excellent choice in the central area of Kutna Hora. Wide selection of pizzas, pastas and other Italian dishes. The restaurant itself is small but has a beautiful garden out back, and there's a nice wooden deck in the front overlooking the main plaza of town. Service was a bit curt but efficient. A good choice in Kutna Hora.

Family restaurant in the heart of the historical town. European kitchen served as we like it. Modern classy style, fresh open-space with plant wall and garden. We cook vegan food too!
I will definitely come back here. Itâs clean, good food, and family friendly. My 3yr old son is used to clearing his own table by taking his plate to the kitchen so he accidentally dropped a plate while trying to clear his table and the staff was so kind and polite to us. They even gave my son some fruits to calm him down from the shock. If youâre a vegan or vegetarian, they have a menu for you.Mothers, I saw a baby changing area.Great value for money.

1. Service was helpful and attentive but they're were simply not enough. I counted approximately 50 clients and only 2 waiters.2. The 3 main dishes we ordered were disappointing. But the Svickova was truly awful3. Our Pilsner beers were bottled. =O who wants bottled beer at a restaurant in Czech Republic?4. The soup we ordered was none existent, in the end the waiter came back to let us know that they did not have it anymore. 5. The nice view might be somewhere else. I see a wall here in the terrace. We were not the only disappointed clients that day. The table next to us ended up leaving without eating anything. And the other table next to us got tired of waiting to pay and had to go to the till to get some service.

The food was great, had a great veggie burger, best Iâve had I would say. The service was good and the waiter there was super nice. Interior was nice, and outside seating was possible. Nice environment, highly recommend :)

Try the Beer Degustation. Six kinds of beer.
We came to this restaurant as part of our tour to Kutna Hora. The advantage: our guide had already booked our table and ordered our food, so we came in directly to order drinks and be served. The food was amazing. As we were a big group we tried all the musts: the ribs were delicious, the meat melted in your mouth; duck in port sauce was tender and tasty too; the wild boar goulash and the wild boar in plum sauce were super tasty too. The sausage soup in a bread was incredibly good!! Beer was great, and the perfect accompaniment for the food. Apple strudel was also a good way to finish the feast. Prices are very good for the amount and quality of food.

We had visited four years ago and came back while in Kutna Hora. The main difference was the season and the amount of people in the restaurant. This time the restaurant was absolutely packed and we had to share a table with some other people. The food came quickly and was very good, typical Czech food with large portions.
