Only found Bodega this year during our regular 3 month stay in Knysna. Really pleasant area for enjoying coffee with lovely views. Not ate there but the coffee draws us back every time we are passing.I know they are moving soon but we will seek them out next year for sure because they serve the best coffee in Knysna.Thank you so much for the lovely review, yes, we are very proud of our roaster (Arrow Coffee) and barista (Phila). Stayed in a delightful 1 bed unit which was large & very spacious & well appointed. Stunning views over the lovely golf course which was a delight to play. The breakfast was super but the dinner menu was a little restrictive. Stayed 5 nights but drove into town for 3 of the evenings. It was a good 10 minute drive down an unlit road into Knysna which we found a little tiresome at night. We also had the pleasure of the baboon's company on the golf course which was very entertaining. Yet again, the level of service was incredible with nothing being too much trouble. Perhaps for us, a couple, staying on Leisure Island or Thesen would have been preferable.

We try and eat here every year when we come to Knysna for the best lamb shank ever. This year was no disappointment. Still the best. Wonderful setting and very intimate. Always recommend to our friends.

Restaurant with a difference. MUSE is a restaurant where locals get together and enjoy food. It is an experience that leave people with a sense of returning to try the next item on the menu.
We had a lovely family dinner, and played a fun game of pool while we waited for our food. The food was great, the service was rather slow but the pool table made up for it. Our only real gripe was that my husband's calamari serving was rather small. Overall a very good experience. Hi Michelle, thank you for the great review and rating. Maybe next time we can spoil you with some extra calamari. Hope to see you soon again. The MUSE team

Whilst in Knysna, we ate here a couple of times as it was very convenient to our hotel and the food and staff were excellent with a good menu including sushi. Upstairs there is a cocktail bar which was also nice with friendly staff. Our only disappointment was that both places closed quite early as it was out of season.

Good selection of local wines. Efficient, friendly service. 4 of us all had different dishes. Hot, large servings, enough leftovers for our lunch the following day. For such a busy spot, we found it commendable that the Owner recognized us from dropping in the evening before to make our reservation & remembered the kind of wine we were asking about. Busy, recommend making a booking

Bistro, casual country cooking including South African dishes. Please add that we do not have Vegan Dishes.
This place is as good as ever following the tragic fire which so nearly destroyed it. Portions are generous so donât even try three full courses. All four in our party chose beef fillet which was excellent and came with truly good veggies. Desserts also good - try the panna cotta, and most desserts come with lovely home made ice cream to boot. Well worth a visit slightly out of Knysna but you must book!

Olive Tree Restaurant Trading hours; Dinners only, Monday to Saturdays in Season> from 6.30pm till kitchen close at 9pm.
Stumbled upon this restaurant as I was looking for a place to eat, and recognized it from my guide book. Iâm glad I went, not alone for the warmth of the welcome, but for the tasty delicious food. The broad menu was patiently explained and more than enjoyed by me.
