Reviews on European food in Kiruna, Norrbotten County, Sweden. There is much to do in Kiruna for both outdoor adventure seekers and city dwellers alike. Given its close proximity to the Arctic Circle, Kiruna is a winter wonderland for skiing, snowboarding, dogsledding, ice fishing and snowmobile jumping. Its location also means nonstop sunlight in June and July and easy access to Kebnekaise, the highest mountain in Sweden. Kiruna Kyrka, the city's old church, is one of the largest wooden buildings in Sweden.

5 of us ate here after skiing the Kings Trail while staying nearby. A great place to replenish calories and most particularly protein. I had a huge shank of reindeer, lovely. Service was particularly good, not too intrusive but friendly and attentive

Everything we had was delicious but there was only 1 choice of starter, 3/4 mains and 1 desert. Not cheap by UK standards but a very high standard of food. We had one starter, 2 mains, a coffee, 1 glass of wine and 2 non alcoholic beers and it was £80. Vegetarians weren't well catered for but you cuold probably ask in advance

At lunch time the pizzeria is practically empty. Only one other customer watching something on his mobile on loudspeaker...Ordered oven pasta with seafood. The portion was plentiful, could not finish it. Taste was mild, not bad, not great. Price was right.
The atmosphere of the place is cosy, the owners young, active, smily and nice and the blueberry smoothie was just delicious!!!The place is super centric so you do not have an excuse to try it out :) We were there in the late afternoon, before closing time and they invited us to some coffe (takk!). I wish the best in this fresh bussiness guys, you are doing great!!!!! I will come back one day to Kiruna and try your home-baked cakes :)

Connected to the Hotel Bishops Inn, but it is a full-scale pub and restaurant.
No, it is not for everyone, but yes, it is for pub-food lovers. From the fish and chips to the kidney pie, from the mussels to the vegburger, a real British pub with real British pub-food. And a great selection of beers and whiskeys. If you are into British pub-food, the Bishops Arms is the place for you in Kiruna.

A 15 minute walk from the Ice Hotel along a lit snowy road, this restaurant was cosy and very welcoming. All the staff were very friendly and food delicious. I had the meatballs and mash and my husband had the chicken dish with chips. A very enjoyable evening.

This is a busy restaurant - the food is quite good and it has a good vibe - the newish (i guess) waitress did not have many clues - we ordered drinks that never came, though we got charged for them - on pointing this out when the bill came it was fixed, but still???

Welcome to Restaurant Camp Ripan... ...and welcome to the exciting city of Kiruna, where the Swedish, Sami and Torne Valley Finnish cultures meet. Most of our produce comes from our three cultural regions, something we would like to tell you more about. E
We loved staying in the cabin and exploring the surrounds. A short walk into town - though very cold - we took the chance to borrow the sleds and slide around as well.Breakfast was very good with lots of variety. Nice bar and dinner options were also very good

Restaurant and delishop. Local and international food. Daily fresh bread from own bakery. Serves breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner.
We ate here 3 times during our stay. I think the brunch was $25 AUD per head and was an extensive buffet. It included a salad bar, soup, dessert, tea and coffee

Our trip to the ice hotel included breakfast each morning plus a 5 course dinner on the second evening. The restaurant is situated just across the road from the hotel. Breakfast is a buffet style consisting of a mix of both hot and cold choices, fruit, pastries, cheeses and cold meats. Although it was busy each day, we never had a problem finding a table and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. For dinner on the 2nd night that we stayed (definitely recommend this) we had a five course âclassic iceâ menu where 4 out of the 5 dishes are served on ice. The five courses that we had consisted of: 1. Frøya salmon, wakame salad, wasabi mayonnaise, soy jelly, served on ice.2. Arctic char, salsify, egg & bleak roe.3. Fillet of moose, green kale, spruce shoot & blue berries, served on ice.4. Fillet of reindeer with Jägermeister sauce, almond potato puree, pumpkin & carrot.5. Chocolate & arctic brambles, served on ice.We both really enjoyed the meal and would definitely recommend this.
