The service was bad and aggressive, unfriendly and the food was not more than ok.At the end prices was very high and we were charge for items that needed to be change.Ambiance in conclusion was bad.

Unser Besuch im Benediktiner war leider etwas enttäuschend. Einrichtung und Service ganz ok, aber die Speisen waren jetzt nicht so dolle. Mein 1/2 Hähnchen (laut Speisekarte mit Wiesenkräutern und Zitrone) war vollkommen trocken, das Fleisch schon richtig faserig....Von Zitrone- bzw. Wiesenkräutern keine Spur. Das Bayrisch Kraut meiner Bekannten nur knapp lauwarm, der Wurstsalat sehr sauer. Zusammen gefasst sind wir der Meinung, das es deutlich besser geht....

This restauration is good if you want a cup of tea to warm yourself up after a hike up Kindelsberg. The interior is rather oldfashioned and service is quite robust. It might be hard to find a table on a weekend afternoon. The viewing tower (entrance 0,50⬠for adults, 0,30⬠children) which is part of the restaurant provides nice views over the area.

We enjoyed very good food during our Christmas tour together with customers. Fresh food as atarter, paired with a terriffic steak (yes they know how to make medium rare steaks!) and a top wine recommendation gave us a perfect evening.This was the best food I ever enjoyed in Attendorn for reasonable pricing. Its not the cheapest in town but very reasonable for what they serve.Very friendly and fast service.I am coming to Attendorn since 12 years and tried out a lot, this is the best.

We went to this restaurant both evenings on our stay in Burghotel Schnellenberg. The restaurant is very cosy and is having a warm atmosphere. The staff of the restaurant is very friendly. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner, but between lunch and dinner you can go there also for having a drink and a piece of cake. We recognized that also lots of local people from the village of Attendorn are coming there for dinner.

A timber framed heritage building is housing a beautiful pub-restaurant. Menu choices are plentiful and varied. Staff is welcoming and helpful, dishes arrive without much delay.Food is well prepared and tasty.Many dishes represent German food of earlier times not necessarily found in to daysrestaurants. Seit zwei Wochen hat der Ess Bahnhof eine neue Leitung. Fam. Knoche, die schon die Stadthalle in Attendorn betreibt wird jetzt die Geschicke dieses früheren Bahnhofes übernehmen. Das Gastwirt-Fachehepaar, er Koch und Metzger, sie Organisatorin und Managerin will hier eine neue Ãra begründen. Ausstellungen, Musikveranstaltungen, Essen für vernünftige Preise, Vorträge etc. werden ab sofort geboten. Die Esskultur und das Wohl der Gäste steht natürlich an 1. Stelle. "Wir möchten, dass sich die Kunden hier wohlfühlen" so Frau Knoche im Klartext. Wir waren zu einem Gesundheitsvortrag bei Kaffee und Kuchen in einem der Räume im ehemaligen Bahnhof und haben die Atmosphäre mit vorbeifahrenden Zügen voll genossen. Die Gastlichkeit und Freundlichkeit des Personals waren ausgezeichnet. Wir wünschen einen guten Erfolg in der Zukunft.

Nice hotel , Easy to find , very good breakfast , easy to park with your car ....Nice bed's The room's are also ok !There is also wifi but this can be better ! I recommand this place for the quality and the price of it :)
