The location is fabulous. The main starters are great. The staff is helpful. The main course is absolutely amazing and the portions are huge.I can't wait to be here again at winter time as the outside scenery looks really inviting at the north part of Israel near Maalot.
Romanian traditional food.
I've never been to a Romanian restaurant. In fact, I've never eating Romanian food. But a friend drove us up yesterday to Ema Traditional Romanian Food. The place is located in the basement of a mall that seems rundown and old. The eatery is set up like an extension of someone's home kitchen. Peaceful atmosphere. It says, "you are here to eat and to enjoy'. The food was interesting and we enjoyed it. Not Kosher and I could not recall the difficult names. But the kabab was good and so the cheese+corn flour thingi. We had a war desert of donut and cherry which was heavenly. Good place for food lovers.

Aluma is a very good place to celebrate little or big meaningful moments. Not a cheap restaurant, but worthwhile for such moments. The food is a successful marriage between French kitchen and Local Galilee food. The service is kind and attentive. We had a problem with a too salty dish which was treated rapidly and professionally. For Steak Tartar lovers (raw meat dish), you will enjoy a good quality meat which is the first condition for this fine recipe. All dishes were served aesthetically. The only disappointment was the desert which was a high sugar mix for hyperactive 4 years old children. The owner excepted our feedback and was frank to agreed with us. Go Aluma!

I decided to try this restaurant because I thought it was in Karmiel. It's not exactly in Karmiel but rather about a 15 min drive. But it's worth it! I really enjoyed my dinner here. The service was relaxed and friendly. The portions were correct. The prices were reasonable. I would happily return! Worth the effort.
Karmiel Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Karmiel
A European restaurant located on the Hatzbani River. A pleasant sitting outside, menu-breakfasts, business lunches, meats, fish, vegetarian and vegan friendly, children's dishes, business, witches and milkman.
Five kids loved their variety of kids dishes and so did the adults with the meat and salads selection. Service though was the real wonderful surprise - water were served within minutes of our arrival without even asking. An important gesture at 40 degrees... also when one of the dishes was not to our liking it was replaced no questions asked. Lastly they recommended superb desserts. We loved the decor of witches all around the restaurant and we will definately return on our next visit up north.

Located in a strip mall close to the main (eastern) entrance to Karmiel. Spacious restaurant with nice decor. The food is good and innovative with generous portions. However, the vegetables could use better preparation before they go into the oven (peel the outer layer of the onions, remove the sting from the tomato). When the vegetables are covered with dressing you don't see these.
