Discover Restaurants offering the best European food in Kamari, South Aegean, Greece. The coastal village of Kamari features the beaches and ruins that are typical of Greek islands, but also boasts unusual attractions like an open-air cinema. Stray from the black pebble shores and head up to the site of Ancient Thira, where the stone remains of houses, markets, baths and temples will impress you with their size and structure. Sip local vintages at the Gaia Winery, then relax at an outdoor café as you watch the sun sleepily drop below the horizon, washing the sky with warm Aegean light.

Fine dining restaurant FLOGA AND 1800 now united under one management to provide a sensetional gastronomic expireance whith the best sea and volcano view on the island
This is a very small restaurant, I would estimate around 30 person capacity. The first thing we noticed was how attentive the servers were. They checked up on us throughout our meal, refilling drinks and cleaning off our table between courses, and always checking to make sure we enjoyed everything. The menu was a modern take on traditional Greek cuisine. We really enjoyed the mussels appetizer, which was served in a tomato and feta based sauce similar to a mussels saganaki. The difference here was the flair of the dish being served on a flaming dish with a mint jelly on a spoon to pour over the mussels. Absolutely delicious. We also had their bread which tasted fresh and was served with a creamy feta and red pepper dipping sauce which was a great complement to the mussels. We had a spaghetti with prawns and rack of lamb for our main courses. Both of the dishes were plated stylishly and were rich and full of flavor. We had a chocolate souffle for dessert that turned heads at other tables when it was served with a red wine goblet steaming with dry ice that seemed designed to Instagram. We were so pleased with our dinner and the service that we made reservations for the next night as well. Our servers even introduced us to the chef!

Aigaion Irish Pub is a cosy place with a very special atmosphere. You can watch all kinds of international sport games on HD projectors when ever you like. The owner Kostas have been serving guests from all over the world for more than 15 years. The most
Very good breakfast and can even excuse the tinned plum tomatoes (which we actually like, but don't expect in Greece) when Greek tomatoes are so juicy. The, what we think were Richmond sausages, were better than all of the "continental" sausages we had eaten. It was a pity that our bacon was overcooked as some of the "continental" versions had more flavour. A cost of â¬21 including orange and cranberry juices was excellent value in the resort. A complimentary Irish whisky and cream capped an wonderful breakfast,Thank you so much for your kind words! We are are very happy that you enjoyed your visit at our bar. We always try to make our guests feel welcome at our place. Hope to see you again :)

Great to try a selection of traditional greek dishes. Having done this at most restaurants we visited during our week there, a few places were tastier than here, and a lot cheaper. The waiter was knowledgeable about the wine. I had asked for some of the dishes to be catered to a vegan diet and this was forgotten (asking for yoghurt to be on the side of the plate, but the food arrived touching yoghurt) but the food overall was nice. Thank you for your review. We have had many times similar requests, such as yours and we always do our best to deliver. We are sorry to read that the yoghurt was not properly placed, so as not to touch your food. We have made a notice so our staff in the kitchen can be more careful in the future. Thank you again for your visit.

Loved this place! Cannot fault it, a must visit. Cocktails were gorgeous, food was amazing and service was perfect. Eric has to have a mention...he was THE most friendly, welcoming guy. He talked to us every night, even if we werenât eating in Vinsanto and was exceptional at his job! We had cocktails here most nights (delicious Mojitos) and we ate here a couple of evenings in the second week cause it was so tasty! Their Lobster Linguine was soooo good!!

Located right on the beach we enjoyed our visits to this friendly bar. It was popular and it get busy but were usually manage to find the front line table with views out onto the sea. After quite a lot of walking one of their ice cold beers was much appreciated and didnât cost too much. They do a decent happy hour on cocktails on this brings the punters in.The service was excellent â fun. Lots to see and great views while enjoying a couple of cold ones.

The seafood saganaki was great. As was the roasted lamb in vine leaves. Large Greek salad was delish! with just the right cheese to veg ratio. Second time we had the chicken souvlaki, it was good but a little dry, but totally eatable with the rich creamy tzatziki. House wine was very drinkable even though it was very inexpensive. And to top it off we got a complementary pannacotta one night and the next a complementary lemoncello.

Fist night we were greeted by the Captain, who makes his raki/fruit juice welcome shots during the winter. over our meals we tried: pork schnitzel, beef stifado, soutzoukakia, pastitio, moussaka, and dolmades. all very enjoyable. Sweet treat or raki at end of meal, complimentary.

First let me say that Oia is one of the busiest hussle places we have ever visited. Trying to find peace and quiet in the evening is a real challenge. We were guests at Esperas and checked out many of the top rated dinner places, with good success. Except evenings in Oia are madness with the sunset crowds! So we decided to just "stay in" for the night and dine at Ombra. Best decision we made during our visit to Oia. Excellent food, exceptional service, and I might add: the best view of the Oia sunset. It is a small place and you need a reservation. If you stay at Esperas, it is a no brainer. For non-guests, it is worth the walk and the stairs!Thank you very much for your review and for the welcome comparison. It is always great to come out on top when compared to rival establishments, especially when coming from true guests. We very much appreciate your real review and your business.
