Slightly late on a Sunday night scouting around for food and getting cranky with hunger we happened upon Atelier St. Roch and were rewarded with lovely service and some dishes that lodge happily in the memory weeks later. Particularly good were the baked Hake dish and the Fig Tart with honey and Thyme. Don't hesitate.

To start out, reservations are essential, and try to make them many weeks in advance. Leclere is a small place and extremely popular. The interior and decor are simple but correct and attractive. The menu is very limited with 2 entries, 2 main and 2 dessert. The food is high quality, not terribly complicated, but well prepared. The staff was friendly and attentive. All in all a very nice experience at a moderate price.

After A Long Reflection On The Future Of This Place, Which Does Not Respond To Their Ambitions, Young Buyers Decide To Break The Image Of "beausejour". It Becomes "the Six Sense," In Reference To The Number Of The Avenue. The Lunches On The Go Leave Room
I know this place since I worked in the area and it did not diminish its quality. The ingredients seem always fresh, the salads are huge and tasty, the magret de canard is really nice (oh, those french fries!!!), the tartare de boeuf especially in that slightly poêlée version is tasty. My usual choice goes to the seiches grillées salad which is lovely. It is a safe choice. Not in a very popular area but whenever I feel like taking someone out in a safe place or like returning for a nice (not festive) dinner this is the place. The atmosphere is ok and the staff is very kind and welcoming.

With only , what appears to be 10 covers this restaurant is worth a visit, the owner/chef is very passionate and runs the whole show by himself. Extremely polite and friendly and really interesting dishes. Inexpensive too. Not sure we will go back as we feel we have kind of done it , but loved the concept and passion .

Stumbled across the restaurant when walking around one evening. Really glad that we did, great food. Set menu which changes weekly, enjoyed a really great bottle of wine too. Chef came out to explain each course, with a unique way to present the dishes. The outside seating area adds to this unique experience. His is unique local genuine French restaurant mnged by a Husband and Wife team. The food was outstanding even though the choices are limited. The Frogs Legs were delicious as we're all the plates we chose, I particularly enjoyed my veal. It was a special food experience that we will highly recommend to all. You need to book to be sure of your seat. This is not a noisey tourist overcrowded loud established but a genuine French experience not to be missed.

We were recommended Villa 29 by our excellent hotel, Les Arceaux. It as an excellent recommendation. The restaurant is lovely, the food was tasty, the owners were delightful, the ambiance was relaxing. We strongly recommend that a visit to Montpelier should include a meal at this superb delight.the portions are generous. The 5 tapas make a full meal. The burger with goat cheese is just wonderful.

Suggested by our hotel (Domaine du Biar) this restaurent was close by and food, wine and service was good. We had some difficulties finding the place even with TomTom, as we drove a bit too far and in the dark couldn't find it but then when we came back we saw the sign.We were maybe a bit undressed (as were most of the guests as well) for this place because it was very nice inside, and food was if not fine-dining then at least very-good dining.

My boyfriend took me to this restaurant and as son as you walk in, the 2 owners make you feel welcome. The decor is very cosy and fabulous at the same time. The food is to die for, very French and gastronome. I never eat desert but I tempted myself with their specialty - the Tiramisu with berries and speculos biscuit. It was THE best tiramisu I have ever eaten! Anyway, not pricey, very good food, great service, a Must visit in the region!

Our hotel had recommended the Bains restaurant in Rue Richelieu but as thiis did not open until 8pm we decided to go next door to the Suite des Bains restaurant and Tapas bar (No 6 Bis de Richelieu) and it was a sound move. .It was not cheap but we each had a tapas dish as a starter. Mine was moules au gratin and my wife had duck samosa. We both had char grilled dourade for our main course and I had cheese for dessert and my wife had a very filling ,but delicious chocolate fondue dish. There was a good and reasonable selection of wine and I chose,as I did throughout our stay in this lovely region, a red Languedoc. Our waiter was helpful and spoke some English. Well worth a visit
