The restaurant is nicely located on Irkutsk's new "strip" and in keeping it is attractively set up and decorated with a good overall feel. The menu is quite extensive and includes some of the local specialities such as dishes with the Baikal white fish. All in all the food was not bad but was definitely not brilliant. Not overly expensive for what you get but by no means cheap.

A tiny, dark and lovely little cake shop with great service. The cakes were delicious. We tried the Zebra and the Royal, which is full of dried apricots, prunes and cream cheese. Both were fresh and wonderfully tasty. The place has a real feeling of an intimate salon and has only four tables, with great coffee. The cakes are paid for by weight. Order a big slice! Highly recommended.

Easily the best place I ate at during my 4 weeks touring Russia. The staff speak English, are friendly (rare in Russia!), the cafe is clean, pretty, with good facilities and flawless wifi. The food comes very quickly (I'd barely had a chance to sit down!), was unbelievably tasty and such good value!I cannot fault this place! Please visit, you won't regret it!

The name is misleading as there is almost nothing on the menu that resembles Greman food. I order lamb kabob it was served dripping is grease and was nauseating to eat. The was good..the food terrible.

Prego Italian Restaurant is for more formal dining. We went there for a special dinner before leaving Irkutsk. Service is good. Prices are reasonable by US standards. The pastas are homemade and they bring you a display for you to choose which you want. Servings are generous. Nice ambiance.

A friend of ours in Alaska called to our attention the Brasserie bbb here on the Trip Advisor website and suggested that we might want to try it out. So we did. The staff can make or break a business. The staff here at (it goes by the name) bbb are just the greatest. From the top (the owner / manager) down, the entire staff with whom we interacted all were warm and friendly. There are two sides to bbb, one the restaurant proper and the other a bakery / patisserie. The restrooms clean and fully stocked with all the necessities (soap / paper towels etc et ALL).We enjoyed our lunch. A Burger bbb and a great Salad Montagnard along with a full liter of lemon iced tea. All just great.As we were ready to leave, one of the staff was so kind as to call us a taxi. He then came outside with us and made sure the taxi knew where we were going and the full fare. Just outstanding on Moran's part.What more to say? You can't miss eating here at the bbb.Hi, Many thanks for your feedback. It was a pleasure meeting you both. We were travelling the length of the Trans Siberian Express so the issue of culinary delights was clearly not high on our agenda but on the basis of the reviews in TripAdvisor we plumped to have one of our two dinners in Irkutsk here. So, to cut the suspense, the greeting when we entered was simply delightful, the ambience of the restaurant whilst quiet was also peaceful, and our table overlooked the busy street so we had much to look at. And then, the food! Wow, who would have seen that coming?! Beautifully presented, wonderfully balanced, and, most importantly for two tired old travellers, delicious!! All just perfect, and our waitress, who spoke perfect English due to time spent in the USA, treated us with such charm, and perfect professionalism. So, if you are ever in Irkutsk, then this is the place to eat!!

Don't come here if you're looking for authentic sushi. We were hungry and desperate for halfway decent food after being on the train for three days, but the best I can say about the food here is that it was... not terrible. I guess if you don't have any expectations of what sushi is supposed to be like the food is decent enough. If you come from a place where sushi is common you are not going to be impressed with the food here. The staff were very nice though.

It is super strange that it's number one... I think there is some scam behind this review thing. Or Maybe people just go there to drink but still it is strange because even the drinks where not good.We decided to tried our selves and eat and drink in here. Place is more expensive than other in Irkutsk.Cheese plate was good but mushroom soup was a joke. It didn't have any taste and no mushroom. My husband got kotlet and it was bad. No taste and he ended up not eating the dish. I had 4 cheese risotto and well it was just full on cheese. It wasent bad but I think maybe dish should taste also something else than just cheese.My husband got Tom Collins and clearly the waiter didn't know the drink..hmm it's quite popular. It was too strong. And I had a cocktail from the list. It was good ( I guess they can make it from the list, but in a cocktail bars they usually do excellent job outside of the list)Waiter was nice and polite. She just was little bit out. She didn't knew anything about the wines for example.I understand that this is easy place because of English menu. I would still go somewhere else and use translator.
