As it's listed here on Trip Advisor, I may as well write my idea's about it.We had rented a cottage nearby and became thirsty after a walk in the surroundings. So we stumbled in.It's a typical wallonian brown beercafe/restaurant. They propose an extensive beerlist wherein even the local ones are listed. With such a list in front of us, our eyes started to glance! A real relief, as it becomes more and more difficult to find local beers in Belgian cafe's. The beers are served with a chilled glass, and you have to poor it in yourself. in Belgium, that's how it has to be.They are member of 'bistrot de terroir' a label created to revive and sustain the local cafe's.http://bistrotdeterroir.be/bistrotdeterroir/fr/bistrot.html?BistrotId=RST-01-000OXNThey have a terrace, somewhat aside from the main traffic road.Service was very courteous. Food was okay and not expensive.
Petite restauration rapide dans le centre de Hotton. Service efficace mais surtout un accueil très convivial. L enseigne correspond bien à l ambiance dès que vous franchissez la porte. Quelques spécialités russes à découvrir.

During our short vacation, we had dinner twice at this lovely restaurant. Good food at affordable prices. The extremely friendly and hard working staff made the atmosphere fun and enjoyable. Should we return to this area, we will definitely visit again!

In a green near a tributary of the Ourthe, La Command'Rie welcomes you for a drink, a meal or a simple snack. A few steps away, you can enjoy the peace of our terrace at the water's edge and a cozy restaurant space to enjoy authentic cuisine of local and

Charming little house with a beautiful garden giving the whole a note both contemporary but warm and intimate. A beautiful kitchen in the times and based on seasonal product .
We woke up this morning and thought today we just want to have a lovely lunch in a beautiful restaurant and we read some reviews for restaurants in the Wallone and found tLa Table de Manon. We are so glad we did, it fulfilled our hopes. The restaurant is a really lovely space, I don't think that the photos really show what an elegant and restful place it is. We were impressed by the menu, and my sister who has a lot of allergies was excited to hear that the chef was happy to adjust recipes to meet her needs. Each of our meals (we had asparagus and seat bread entree, amb and fish for ) were lovely. The meals looked beautiful when they arrived on the table, The flavours were subtle and complex with rich and delicious sauces. We finished with a lovely rice pudding with a tropical (largely mango) sauce.Dear TroppoRaatus ,You made our day ! Thank you so much for your kind words, we are really happy to know that you enjoyed your time at our restaurant ! Looking forward welcoming you again Manon

We found this place by chance on a last minute trip to the Ardennes for a sunny bank holiday weekend. Normally it's closed on Sunday evenings but as it was a holiday they were open, and thank god they were! They are on the banks of the river Ourthe and we ate on the spacious terrace, a great location. The road is next to the restaurant but wasn't busy enough to disturb the peaceful setting, and the view down the river is lovely. The menu isn't huge but there is something for everyone, and the wine list offers a large choice. They have a menu option which is very reasonably priced, and judging by the portions we received ordering à la carte, would also be very filling! There was a selection of amuses bouche with the house aperitif including a creme brulee made with Ardennes ham, which was a surprise and very good.Starters include salmon which is smoked on site in their own fumoir, and home made foie gras, both of which were delicious. Mains are very generous and of a high quality, and include calf sweetbreads, as well as more traditional steak and fish dishes. Local wines are available and again, very fairly priced. Desserts and cheeses are great, and we rounded off our meal with a well prepared and very alcoholic Irish whiskey, which we took indoors as the chill was beginning to set in. Indoors is just as nice as the terrace, with options on intimate seating or larger tables for bigger groups, and open fires lending a cosy feel.Service is very attentive and yet totally unpretentious and very friendly. The final seal of approval for us came when our dog was also welcomed with open arms, both on the terrace and indoors. Not a bad word to say about this family run restaurant - thoroughly recommended!

We enjoyed the meal but unfortunately my wife got food poisoning. She had not eaten for several hours before the meal so we are certain of the cause. The waitress was pleasant but spent more time typing on her phone at the bar than serving the guests. Dear sir, We are truly sorry that your wife did not digested his meal. We interviewed other customers came the same day and there were no other cases.About the waitress, she was not playing with his phone, but know that we use an Ipod for ordering customers, I still present you our apologies for his inconvenience.P.S. I'll do my best for the translating.Olivier Cornet.Manager.

This rural restaurant in Belgian Luxembourg always has a 'Touring' menu, which changes each month. The all-in price is based on a formula developed by the Belgian touring club and is almost a gift, when applied by a restaurant of this class: four courses with a delicious house aperitif, glasses of wine generously refilled, water (in Belgium nearly always a money earner) and coffee plus 'mignardises'. The goose liver poêlé with caramelized apple was beyond reproach, the scampi with bacon and mushrooms in oilve oil delicious, and the pheasant with andives a good main course. The desert was the traditional Belgian 'misérable' as adapted by the famous French pastry chef Lenôtre. Special mention must be made of the friendly and highly professional service.

Durbuy was empty and most roads under construction so when we found out Ardennaise was opened we jumped there without looking much. What a great luck. The place serves delicious hot chocolate and very good cappuccino. Plenty of options for snacks. Also servers were really nice and spoke v good English
