Glad we booked, very busy, always a good sign. Whenever we visit Stratford we always have lunch here, again an endorsement. We have never had a bad experience here with excellent food, freshly prepared, excellent service and reasonable priced. You can take advantage of the set menu of two or three courses or go a la carte which we did. We chose fillet of plaice and chicken and banana, in a curry sauce. A very good choice of deserts as well. We have no criticisms as everything was to our taste. We have no hesitation in recommending this bistro but, as I said earlier, book in advance to be sure.

This hotel is set in beautiful grounds, and i can see why it is so popular for weddings. Plenty of parking, nice reception, warm welcome, easy check in, lovely room. Indeed, staff very friendly and obliging. All good. Lovely meal with friends, food excellent, service of a very high standard too. As I expected. My two downsides to this stay: bar prices excessive; I was looking forward to a few pints but at £12.80 for two drinks, my wife and me were pleased we bought a bottle of wine with us, which we enjoyed sharing in our room later in the evening. Iâm not tight, but on a point of principle I only had the one pint - a little more sensible and Iâd have happily spent more. Also, we were woken at 3.55am by two guests having âa domesticâ in the corridor outside the room. It went on for about 25 minutes, and though my wife rang reception, she felt the person she spoke to had no interest in pursuing her concern. My wifeâs other observation is that the bathroom facilities were poor for the money we paid for the night: a small shampoo and shower gel doesnât compare well with other hotels of a similar standard weâve stayed at. Iâm being a bit finicky, maybe, but sometimes the little added touches go a long way. In fairness, other members of our group mentioned this too. But all in all a lovely hotel, great staff, excellent breakfast by the way, and much to be commended. We just had to catch up on some sleep when we arrived back home late morning!Dear Guestthank your for your kind and genuine feedback, we are sorry that another couple had woken you.Kind RegardsSteve and team

Loxleyâs Restaurant & Wine Bar is an independently owned, family run business based in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon.
Had the Chateau Briand, rare, and it was amazing and one of the best we have had, great service and looked after by Phoebe who was great, great ambiance as well and we would definitely recommend.

We know you'll love the interior, featuring open kitchens, stone fired ovens and log burning fires, offset by beautifully landscaped gardens for alfresco dining. The menu is simple but up-to-the-minute, with lots of comfort appeal, with homely things like
Generally the standard is very good, however Sunday lunch was very disappointing. Started with soup just warm. We had roast dinners; plentiful however roast potatoes Yorkshire pudding over cooked and tasteless, usually stay for 3 courses, however due to the poor starter and main we decided to leave.

I don't think that this restaurant is listed on TA at the moment, and I would like to submit a review.
Love this restaurant... always a warm welcome... olives and three styles of fresh cooked bread to snack on... cracking bottle of Pino Grigio Rose ... Garlic Prawns .... ( Prawns .... looked more like baby Lobsters ! ) .. both had Filleto al Pepe .... with Creamy mash and fresh Spinach . still has to be one of the best steaks in the West Midlands. Some may say itâs a bit expensive..... but we think..... you get what you pay for... xthank you

A rather informal restaurant more like a cafe, but the food was excellent. Well prepared and delicious with friendly service. My only complaint was that it is a small restaurant and the tables occupied had rather noisey diners. I would go back again for the food just wishing the ambience was better.

The Orangery has always been a favourite of ours but they have really raised their game with the new summer menu. Firstly the kids menu is hands down the best kids menu around with more than just the obligatory burger, pizza or pasta. my two had the mini sliders and chicken and pancetta skewers that both went down an absolute treat. For the grown ups we went for the small plates menu with a grand anti past board to share, fantastic Sicilian green salad with the most delicious caramelised lemon zests

Stopped off here for lunch midway through our journey.Nice welcome but weâre told we could only eat outside as they were expecting a large coach party. It was a nice day, so we thought it would not be an issue. The only problem was the amount of wasps around, which slightly spoiled our visit. The staff were lovely and the food of a good standard.Overall a pleasant visit.

Another excellent meal at this Warwickshire pub/restaurant. Dinner is more towards the fine-dining end than pub food and this is reflected in the prices. The starter of seared lambs liver in a creamy mushroom and Dijon mustard sauce was excellent. This was followed by a delicious portion of baked hake on crushed potatoes and accompanied by a tomato and olive sauce. House wines weren't bad either. Lovely surroundings and the staff as ever were friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back in the near future.

Fine Dinning in a relaxed atmosphere. This family owned restaurant opened on Saturday 3rd October 2015 after extensive renovations. Open - Tuesday to Sunday 12.30pm-14.30pm Tuesday to Saturday 6.30pm - 21.00pm
We had a wonderful anniversary lunch at Cheal's. Every dish was delicious and clearly assembled with great skill, from the amuse-bouche to the coffee and petit fours. Would particularly recommend the crispy duck egg starter. Service was also spot on - friendly but professional, and the place has a really nice feel to it: comfortable fine dining without too much fuss. Compares favourably with Michelin starred places we've visited.
