Things to do in Gyumri
I was almost late for my train as they were not able to prepare a waffle for an hour. I asked for my order 3 times and after that the waitress brought my waffle with wrong topping and ice-cream. I didn't even finish my meal, just left the restaurant.

We tried the khinkali which was very delicious, but I'll be going back to try the "Chanakh", a dish that is apparently local to Gyumri specifically. The staff were also very friendly and helpful when we asked them for directions to go elsewhere.
Went to a birthday party there today. Super staff. Food was quite good under the circumstances (large group eating from a set menu). Nice view of the old church and lots of trees. Highly recommended.
Le Café is a real find and the only place in Gyumri where you can get truly satisfying espresso drinks. This is no doubt due to the fact that it's also the only place in town that has a proper espresso machine - and staff who know how to use it. They don't open for the season until May 1, so if you find yourself in Gyumri earlier, as I did, you'll just have to be patient. But it was worth the wait, because Le Café is a friendly, beautifully designed oasis that offers cocktails, beer, food and well-crafted cappuccinos, courtesy of the baristas and attentive waiters and waitresses. The menu is a bit limited, with some bland dishes, but the chicken wrap was very good. I only wish that they offered fresh, out-of-the-oven croissants in the morning to go with the cappuccinos, but the bakery (attached to Di Napoli next door) waits until the afternoon to make them.Le Café is stylish, friendly, and a lot of fun. Overall, highly recommended!
Io e 3 miei amici abbiamo cenato presso questo locale e siamo stati accolti dal personale con estrema gentilezza. Essendo italiani hanno messo su musica italiana per tutta la serata. La pizza comunque buona.
We ate at Faeton with a 50-person group while touring Gyumri. The lunch we had was a fixed menu, probably because we were a large group! Everything we ate was delicious and well-prepared. The dining room was large and well air-conditioned (it was a hot day!), and the restrooms were clean. I enjoyed fresh Armenian bread, a summer salad, and chicken with bacon and mustard on top with potatoes on the side. The servers were friendly and brought out more water bottles without more than a minute's wait. I would love to return to this restaurant and highly recommend it to others!
It is in the Nane Hotel. Recently renovated and very clean, the food was an Armenian/Levantine fusion, and better than OK. Good presentation, nice variety, decent wine selection. It is nothing that special, but very serviceable.

This coffe bar is located in the center of the city. You can have many types of sweets, cake and juices. Also some salads and dishes(specially Italian food). At night usually someone play piano(not so well). Also music during the day is not the best. Wi fi works well. You can have also shisa(narghilè). Price is medium.

We went to the attractive Veranda Home Restaurant with a group of 17 friends. The prices were fine and the food was really good. Great salads and apps!! People ordered all kinds of things from the menu and no one complained. I would definitely return!
