At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We donât do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. Weâre all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food. This long standing restaurant is set at th
The service was very good. The food was very poor! The pasta dishes were small and my calzone was of a very oddly taste. My husbandâs dish was ok, but we hate eating off boards! My daughterâs dessert was not like the photo shown on the advertisement. The chocolate brownie was either uncooked or melted, it was not a brownie! We did complain and they didnât charge us for the dessert. We were offered another one, but we declined. The meal was very overpriced! Probably wonât visit again.

There is more to the jetty than meets the eye, I discovered.More than an excellent sea food restaurant, there is the attached open kitchen at the âLong Barâ, good music and drinks, then a Spa, and finally a very comfortable hotel, all in one. Thank you Jesus. There is more: The staff! Often sidelined they are the ones that make my day, always very attentive, and above all very helpful and fun.. I am served! At the top of the high street there is light!! Thank you Hellen, Anna, Gabriella, Miles, Vince, Mike x2, Jack and Jill. They are all fabulous, management included.

The Ivy Castle View is an all-day British brasserie in the heart of Guildford, located just off the High Street, the main entrance is within the Tunsgate Quarter
We visitors The Ivy in a Sunday evening for dinner, and it was a great experience. A beautifully elegant restaurant with a view of the castle. The service was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable staff, who made recommendations about the dishes. A wide choice of dishes for every course, suiting different tastes. Highly recommend the steak tartare, the Iberico pork was beautifully cooked, and totally delicious! The desserts are served with a little bit of theatre - the apple tarte was served flambé at the table, and the chocolate bomb has a warm salted caramel sauce poured over it, melting the delicate shell. The waitress also brought out a birthday treat as they had recognised there was a celebration in our party.

I eat here frequently and have never been disappointed. The meat is flavoursome and freshly cooked. The portion size is perfect and the accompaniments are original and tasty. The staff are friendly, courteous and attentive without being overbearing.I couldn't recommend a visit to Nuros more.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. There is good Italian food and there is superb Italian food - this is superb, unique, different, beautifully put together, amazing flavour combinations, and a real treat. The restaurant is ver pleasant, despite not having the best views (Sydenham Rd car park), but the service, the relaxed atmosphere, not being crammed in,and the comfort, all help make this a special experience. Very impressed - we will be back, not regularly, but for special occasions - such as this, it was our 35 Wedding Anniversary. Crab and salmon fish cakes, halibut carpaccio, tuna steak salad and olive mash, calfs liver, myrto and frangelico liqueurs all sublime!

What a fantastic birthday present. Table booked for 12:30 starters arrived 12:35 and mains 5 mins after our starter plates were collected. We all chose something other than the traditional roast and I must say it was all beautifully prepared. When we decided to all have a dessert we were told that it would be 8 to 10 mins wait which is fine as it gave me time to submit this review. If ever in the area please look this place up you won't be disappointed.

La Casita "little house" we offer an authentic flavour of the Mediterranean from Spanish Tapas and Paella , to succulent fresh fish, meat and salad. We also offer a good choice of vegetarian options and our set menu specials are great value and a quick alt
The service couldn't have been faster or friendlier and the tapas were almost all pretty good (the artichokes were not exactly plentiful and the chanquetes were small whitebait not true chanquetes), but the meat dishes were very good and the menu price is excellent. However, a pint of Estrella at £5.50 and a bottle of Cruz Campo at £4.50 is slightly over the top. Having said that, the menu comes with a well- poured glass of rose, white or red (our red was more than adequate), so beers are purely an extra at choice..

We arrived out of the soaking rain into a cosy, warm and welcoming restaurant. We were seated upstairs and very well looked after all evening by Martha. Martha was delightful and our evening was only made better by her excellent service and approach to customers. The food was probably the best Italian cooking I have had in England and better than a lot of the food I've had in Italy too... If it hadn't been for the awful weather outside I could have convinced myself we were on holiday. After a delicious bread basket with oil and vinegar we had the special of sardines in breadcrumb with herbs and the carpaccio with rocket and Parmesan, both were excellent. For main course we ordered Nastri seafood pasta and a pizza, but after having the pasta come out first (they were happy to split the dish into two bowls and stagger the main courses) we cancelled the pizza as we wanted to save room for dessert! I'm very pleased we made that decision because the desserts were incredible as well. We had the pear and almond tart and the Special which had chestnut paste, mascarpone and flaked almonds amongst other ingredients and a side of sweet wine. It's one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. It sounds quite rich but it actually wasn't over the top. There is a good selection of prosecco cocktails and the house cocktails were very reasonable. The price was very surprising to the point where I missed that service had already been added to the bill. We got excellent value. Thank you Oliva!
