Let Navi guide you till the parking lot is reached. Then you have to walk for about 10 minutes to reach Steiricher Bodensee/Gasthof Forellenhof. We first had a walk around and went up to the waterfall. Lake and surrounding area is so relaxing and beautiful. Walk around the lake is great fun and is good for Prams. The path towards the waterfall is not for prams and will require much energ. The walk from Forellenhof to waterfall and back will take about 60 minutes depending on your pace. On our return we entered the Forellenhof. Staff was very friendly and food was very delicious. Everything we ordered was just great, from soup to dessert. Only the soup was not warm enough otherwise taste was great. I guess we payed about 30 Euros per head for soup+main dish+dessert+drink (will depend on what dish you order).

Roland is managing the kitchen by himself. Only one more is helping for service in the restaurant. This is how a good chef operates. Good quality and always helpful for special requests. Taste and quality is just fine. One advice: after visiting dorfschmiede more then 4 years a new menu may be in place

We came for dinner on saturday evening. The menu is decent selection with some local specialties and seasonal dishes. The portions are decent size. We had really nice waighter that was very patient with our cranky hungry 4yo:-) We had starter of carpacio which was nice but too thinly cut. The main of spinache dumplings with cheese sauce were delicious and surprisingly full of flavor and light. Overall very nice experience with friendly service. Two starters, two mains and two desserts total of 60 eur.

Family owned restaurant with first class food and service. It is recommended to visit in the Schladming area (just 10 minutes by car from Planai bergbahnen).

Strange old building in the quiet little town (city apparently) of Seerkirchen, but once you find your way around the corridors and up the stairs, you will be charmed by the random furniture in the lobbies, the friendly staff, the Steigle beer, and the good Austrian food. Rooms are spacious and adequate, the location central (the bells! the bells!), and the courtyard fountain calls to you on a hot summer afternoon.
Pro: pretty location with nice views right next to the adventure park. Cons: slow and unfriendly service (probably due to us not being locals), open smoking inside and outside. Not recommended.
Rosemi Alm is perfect for chillout and relax in summer or winter. Its located in the beautiful nature of Stoderzinken, wich is a small ski area with only natural snow in winter. They serve local specialities and a great dessert called "Cremeschnitte".
While my family was enjoying the climbing park, I visited this place for refreshments in the afternoon. Good coffee (served with a glass of water! ) and friendly service.

We enjoyed the four-course house menu and were extremely impressed. The carpaccio was impeccable, while the potato soup and veal also impressed. The parfait tied it all together beautifully. Wine list has excellent local wines, including a gorgeous icewine. Worth coming over from even some distance.
