RM Italian restaurant Gravesend offer a fine selection of excellent authentic food. Diners can expect to find exquisite specials and house favourites.
Kids meal was supposed to be chicken nuggets with chips that was supposed to come with a drink and ice cream but came without these so had to call for them. When I cut the chicken open bits of it was pink so we sent it back and they sent another one. When they received it back we got a very rude phonecall to say the chicken was fine (if you want your child to get salmonella poisoning then yes it was perfectly fine). We also ordered lasagne which was not edible whatsoever. Donât even know what the meat was because it certainly wasnât beef. Tasted more like dog or horse. Another meal was meatballs and spaghetti but the meatballs were as dry as ghandiâs flip flops and also joined the rest of the âdinnerâ in the bin. After all that at least the bin was well fed for the night. Never ordering here again.

Called in on off chance and went for 3 large platters and it has to be said the servings were shocking, slithers of cheese, ham etc, and laughably copius amounts of pickle, relish & mustard.Nice looking place but really felt short changed on what we were served.

We stumbled across Riva by accident a couple of weeks ago, when having a picnic in the sun, by the Thames. Our first visit was mid afternoon for a drink. The bar area has a very casual, comfortable feel, whilst feeling refined at the same time, a totally chilled vibe. Great on a warm sunny day, as all the glass doors open providing seating for two in each section. Our return visit was with friends for Sunday lunch. The views up and down the Thames are unrivalled as it sits on a jetty, so youâre literally dining above the Thames. Food quality was âexcellentâ. A mixture of starters and mains were chosen, which everyone enjoyed. I have to say my choice of the lamb was amazing - beautifully presented, cooked to perfection, with a huge portion, tasted divine. These were followed by deserts and coffees to wash down copious amounts of wine. The entire visit was topped off by great service, attentive at all times, whilst being unobtrusive. Also very Knowledgable about everything that we asked about items on the menu. All 4 of us will return. Dear Guest! Thank you so much for such a detailed and fantastic review of Riva restaurant. We are happy that we could provide you with such a perfect evening and hope to welcome you back to Riva in the future.
