It's been several years since we've visited The West House and the six course tasting menu which we relished yesterday evening has filled us with regret that it has taken us so long to return. Last night Graham Garrett was inspired creating flavour combinations and textures which were mind-blowing and very special indeed and we were still reminiscing about our dinner as we drove home this morning after an overnight stay in one of the restaurant's four comfortable bedrooms.Whilst the food is the star the wine list was pretty interesting too with some well chosen and intriguing bottles. The service is pleasantly casual and attentive but never obtrusive. We just loved our evening and we look forward to going back!

Casa Da Claudia is a unique, rustic café, just off the high street in Tunbridge Wells. Serving breakfast, brunches and lunches, to beautiful cakes and pastries. We also specialise in corporate/business and event catering. The café is open 7 days a week, M
A full English for me and a panini for the hubby (it was brunch time!). My substantial brekkie all came piping hot with toast and was delicious. Hubby said his panini was lovely. Would definitely recommend and go again if in Tunbridge Wells.

Relaxed, contemporary dining in the centre of Royal Tunbridge Wells. Perfect for lunch, right by the shopping centre or take a quiet table for business lunches. We also have seating around the bar for drinks and a separate bar bites menu. Open from 12 Tue
We had an enjoyable Sunday lunch. I had the belly of pork and my wife had the chicken. Both were individually cooked, nicely presented and were delicious.as were the deserts. The staff and chef were helpful and were flexible in accommodating our needs. We will certainly return.

Situated in picturesque Sissinghurst, The Milk House is a village pub at the heart of the community. Every day the bar welcomes loyal locals, along with visitors from further afield, offering cask ales from Kentish breweries and a wide selection of wines
We booked their best room for an overnight stay. We enjoyed a very good dinner and their staff are all superb and made the evening a success. Then the problems began. Their best room is located above the kitchen normally not a problem except this night the kitchen staff neglected to turn off their extraction fans.....imagine listening to a loud humming mechanical noise all night....we did not sleep. The manager handled my complaint quite well but suggested I was mistaken as the head chef said he had turned the fans off....obviously there is a wheel off somewhere. I suggest eating and drinking at the Milk House but beware if you are contemplating staying and if you do avoid the Byre room.

The Great House pub and restaurant, between the Kent villages of Cranbrook and Hawkshurst, is set in some of the most celebrated countryside in all of Europe. Within its own superbly kept grounds, this 16th century inn more than lives up to its location w
Saw the pictures, and read the reviews, but the reality fell far short. The bar area was grubby with food smears on the floor so not an enticing entry. The burger was ok but my chicken kebab with vegetables turned out to be four or five large chunks of meat with unappetising charred slices of capsicum and onion in between. It looked as if no chef had any input into this meal. The accompanying flatbread was dry and stale. This is pub grub.Good morning Katie,I am sorry to hear about your visit. Please could you email me to discuss further. Regards, Sian

A modern British restaurant with an ever-changing menu using the best local and seasonal produce. The focus is on flavour, for food lovers in a relaxed setting.
A charming restaurant with excellent cuisine and friendly service from the owner herself. The wine list was varied and both bottles we tried (the Portuguese red and the Italian Nero) went perfectly with the carpaccio and lamb cutlets respectively. We didnât try everywhere in Cranbrook but nothing we did came close to The Cloudberry.

We believe that your dining experience with us starts the moment you walk through our door. A friendly greeting from our front of house team, lead by co-owner Andy Urbanek and Manager Simon Moore. The Poet offers a vast selection of craft gins, handpicked
The tasting menu with the wine flight is not the cheapest night out, but it makes a special occasion even more special. The food quality and presentation is exceptional. The service is friendly, attentive and informative without being overbearing or pretentious. The Poet may be a pub, but this is top restaurant food and service.

We had a wonderful meal whilst reminiscing about our memories of living in this house 52 years ago (previously a greengrocer's) and seeing how it has been transformed into delightful restaurant. A special 60th birthday treat that was emotional and accompanied by delicious food and our hosts care and interest in recollections. Would love to bring back the whole family. Thanks to all of you at Apicius.
