Roovrays comes highly recommended...And a Charming and ambient evening awaits you...Tastefully decorated with a French influence due to the French Chef and owner. Great value is offered with the Early Bird menu from 6pm till 6.45pm with 2 courses being £1
You really are spoilt for quality restaurants in Mevagissy. Roovrays has a great selection on the menu, and all were beautifully cooked. Nice friendly and helpful service, good size helpings, and all tasted really fresh. We had the monkfish which we would especially recommend. We then came back another day, and the food was just as good. The place is quite small, so we would recommend you book.

Decided to go for an after dinner beverage with me older sister. Arrived at 21.42. Had the first, then tried to order a second. After waiting at the bar for service, for ten minutes I was told it stopped serving at 22.30 (tried to order at 22.33) on a Saturday evening. No last orders or time was called, to inform us And at £9.90 for a Guinness and lager, it wasn't a cheap two drinks either. Booo.

After a long car journey we arrived at our holiday house rental in Mevagissey. In need of some sustenance we were pleased to see this hotel directly opposite so we just dropped of the luggage and went across the road for lunch and a nice bottle of wine thoroughly enjoyed with the most amazing views. We received a warm welcome and were looked after very well. After lunch we sat out on the patio with a refreshing G&T in an idyllic location enhanced by fabulous weather. What a great start to our Holiday in Cornwall.

A fabulous, reasonably priced, family-run restaurant in Carlyon Bay, Cornwall catering to every taste. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
Just returned to our hotel having taken an early dinner at Edieâs. We popped in to book this morning & was met with a welcome, cheery smile and chat. Returned this evening to a beautiful atmosphere. We were sat at Table 12, it has a view of the chef, Nigel and his extremely caring and efficient team. The feeling of calm was palpable and appeared to work like a well oiled machine. The waitresses were young, knowledgeable and very friendly without being familiar. The menu is not extensive, but beautifully put together to suit even the most discerning tastes. In addition to that, there are daily specials. We had the pigeon to start and choose the pan fried hake and the neck of lamb as mains. The quality of presentation is superb but overshadowed by the wonderful tastes on our plates! I didnât want the meal to end. Unusually, we had dessert, the blackberry soufflé with lemon sorbet and a treacle tart with clotted cream and salted caramel. The whole meal was exemplary. I can honestly say that it equalled a meal we had in the summer at a Michelin Star restaurant for a birthday celebration. We urge you to book and visit this wonderful little restaurant and enjoy possibly one of the best meals youâll have in a while. Fine dining without taking a mortgage out!

A visit for my mum's birthday. What amazing food. The 4 of us shared a seafood sharer which was brilliant. Mussels were so fresh and tasty. My wife had boathouse burger and loved it. Especially the quick fried gherkin. The rest of us had seafood linguine which was to die for. Chef is brilliant and very creative. Lovely food and highly recommend.Thank you
