We have been dining at Biba for 5 years now . We originally stayed at Biba and our only reason for staying elsewhere was because it doesnât have a pool . The food served at the restaurant is excellent , pasta and pizza sooo good . If on Giliair a must for dinner , also the position on the beach is lovely .

We came here two times because it really worth it; nice food (we choose fish for the BBQ and take plate à la carte as well) good cocktails and amazing service.You can have a lovely dinner just on the seafront with your feet on the sand; the staff, Rahmad, Dharma and all the other guys will make everything to make you feel welcome and give to you the best service

I arrived to Gili Air pretty sick, so it was difficult for me to eat more than a few bites of anything. My meal at shark bites was the first solid food I could keep down and enjoy. I had the beetroot salad (ask for the dressing on the side) and my boyfriend had the chicken sandwich with potato wedges. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the restaurant is very clean. We ended up eating there 3 times during our short stay on the island.

Came here when there was a power cut but they did not say anything was unavailable. We shared the grilled tuna off the specials and a red curry and they were really fresh and nice. Decent prices too. Definitely recommend and would go back here for sure.

We werenât expecting that you could actually find so crunchy and tasty pizzas in Gili Air. This place have a proper wood-fired oven, friendly staff and rather nice atmosphere as well. Strongly recommend to those who wish to have pizza Friday (or can come up with any other excuse for eating pizza) while staying in Gili Air. :)

My wife and I had dinner here last night. We had a bottle of Red Wine (import) a red snapper red curry and a Lamb curry which was amazing along with 2 deserts. The total bill was a little under £40 can't fault this place and a beautiful spot to watch the sun set. M

Maybe we went there in the wrong moment at the wrong time. There was a lot of folks, joining a birthday party of someone (might have been the boss). They were yelling at eachother from the one table to the other. But especially smoking, and that's something very disturbing for my appetite. Next days when we passed by, it was chill in the reestaurant, so we had the wrong moment. Chicken was tasty, but in Belgium we are used to very tasty chicken in different ways. The home made pepper sauce was really good. When eating a chicken, we use our fingers and after the meal it's nice to clean them. There was no sink to wash your hands. its a story of an Italian couple who met far far away from their homeland, a spear Italian fisherman and a super Italian chef, he was her fish supplier before they fall for each other, in no time they got married and built a there dream together on a micro island in Indonesia (Gili Air ) and still building it, a resort with a 6 table Italian restaurant hidden in the heart of Gili Air, it's so romantic and inspiring.The food is super, felt like my wife and I are dinning in an Italian home in Sicilia.A great value of money.It was a fantastic honeymoon treat.

Itâs hard to believe we found pizza this delicious in such an out of the way place. Itâs even harder to believe it exceeded our expectations after reading other reviews here. The crust is spectacular, made from a real sourdough starter apparently. I couldnât make this at home this good, and theyâre doing it on Gili Air. We had the Scaprese and added olives, garlic, and capers. It went well with the chili oil (I think adding peppers wouldâve been good, too). Iâm still investigating, and committing myself to the search, but This is definitely in the running for best pizza in Asia.
