Inspired by typical national costume materials from Bavaria offers tasty cocktails and international dishes.
Nothing really wrong with this bar and depending on bartender it can be more or less fun. Food is above acceptable but not fantastic. Reasonable prices and of course wonderful Weihenstephen beer on tap. Great to hang out when staying at Marriott alone or just for a quick snack without leaving the hotel

Traditional Italian family runs this restaurant with tasty food and excellent pizza in wood oven. If you are in Freising come and visit us.
The best Italian restaurant in Freising! Totally pleasant location. Pretty old building in the Neustift area of Freising. A short walk from the old cloister (which now house the county offices) and St. Peter & Paul's church. The interior of the restaurant has lots of wood and is nice and cozy in cool weather. Out front, there's a shady terrace for warm evenings. Consistently friendly service. Delicious hand made pizza and pasta. Good quality, fresh ingredients. Always a pleasure to eat there. Reasonable prices, too!

We stumbled upon this restaraunt after our first choice was closed. It is somewhat hidden back by a tennis club. Although the inside restaurant was filled, they were gratious enough to allow us to order from an outside table. We had fetticini with meat sauce, penne arrabiata and pizza margarita. The food was fresh, tasty and thoroughly enjoyable. After eating so much hearty german food, this was an excellent change of pace. Great Italian in the heart of Bavaria!

We visited this place and to be honest we werenât disappointed . Great food, service and atmosphere all round. English menus available and we sampled two bottles of Greek wine. We really enjoyed our meals and the restaurant offers good value for money. Try the warm octopus starter. Huge portion with salad. Enjoy. Weâll definitely be back to visit here.

The Hofbrauhaus-Keller is located just behind the Count's Hofbrauhaus. We combine traditional cuisine with creative ideas and quality with culinary delights. Our restaurant is well known for a cuisine with regional requirements. In the stylish ambience of
We chose to eat in the Biergarten, where they have cheap food and you serve yourself. First of all, the beer was absolutely amazing and our foreign visitors enjoyed it so much. We had a Radler Mass (nice and refreshing), a Weizenbier (one of the best I have ever had) and then a Weizen Bock, to give them a taste of stronger beer as well. The food was also beyond expectation. They have a small container, where they prepare everything for you and you wouldn't think that the quality is so good. The fries were crisp and tasty, the salad as well, only the jacked potato was a bit boring. The spare ribs were perfect and the curry sausages as well! We also ordered some Bierkäse and Brezn, which our guests enjoyed a lot. We enjoyed this experience a lot and for someone who is well acquainted to Bavarian cuisine, the kitchen exceeded my expectations!Thank you for your rating, Baya_Bay. We are very pleased that you enjoyed it! You are always welcome! greetings

We had a good time at this small restaurant in Freising. This place is really vegetarian-friendly, the person in charge was very helpful in explaining the veg options on the menu and even offered to prepare some dishes without meat. Very warm service and attitude. The soup was very tasty. Main course was just ok as well. Overall good place.

Having read some positive reviews on Kathiâs, we decided to go. Upon arrival we were advised the restaurant was full and the only table available was within a small overflow area. Before taking in the surroundings, we accepted and sat down. We quickly realised the area we were sat was the entrance to two shops and a bar?!! The shop windows were in need of a wash and the ambience was non existent. I absolutely adore steak and often cook in my own kitchen, I was really keen to try the special Bavarian steak. Iâm a little confused as to why you would come to Bavaria and order meat from another country? There was many selections from other countries available. I should note that with a price tag of â¬39, my expectations were high. My husband ordered the burger. Our food arrived and cutting into my steak, it became obvious the meat was not cooked as ordered, I requested âmediumâ...the meat had not been rested either meaning the meat juices and blood were on my plate. I requested the waiter return to the kitchen for further cooking. Once my steak arrived back, it was cooked to my preference however still oozing meat juices on the plate. At home, my steak is rested for a minimum of 5 minutes to avoid this. The meat was nice and so too were the accompaniments, my husband reports his burger was tasteless and laden with various sauces, causing it to collapse with moisture. All in all, we would not return. A restaurant focusing on serving steak should have chefs who know how to successfully cook (and rest) this expensive cut of meat.
