We sat outside under the canopy ...which we appreciated as it was snowing! We ordered the plate d'jour which was very good . Enough to share! The omelette too was delicious. A perfect place to meet up with everyone for lunch ...even the babies in their pushchairs!

Whilst staying at the apartments above the restaurant, tried this establishment for Savoyard evening - set menu of local dishes. Underwhelmed sums up our experience unfortunately. Having visited the Savoy region numerous times and enjoyed the local food, the offering here was unexpected and very basic. It felt like little effort had been made and my daughter summed it up when she stated theyâve destroyed Parma ham. The reviews we read beforehand really rate this place and maybe itâs better in the ski season or if you go fir the a la Carte menu.

Fantastic food and friendly service. Le Blanchot and itâs sister restaurant, L'Epicéa, offer the best lunch on the mountain. Consistently top class, and with a good range across the menu. The onion soup is my go-to and has never let me down! Typically have an excellent plat de jour, as well.Raphael and the team look after you really well, whether youâre a regular or a newcomer.

Popped in for a bite to eat. Huge bowls of chips, good local beers, and a nice terrace. Only downside is the piste prices

First pizzeria in Flaine, family owned since 1979. Authentic mountain specialties Brazerade, Fondue and Tartiflette. Opened every evening. Lunch service when the weather is bad and every Saturday.
Busy place. We thought we would head out one night for a sit down but a carry out may have been a better option.Limited variety of food - mostly pizza and no pasta. Poor beer and the house wine was also poor and the bill for 4 â¬90 for 4.

5 stars for dinner. Got a table last minute when really busy and was served quickly and enjoyed a tasty fondue and raclette. Lots of meat and accompaniments. The waiter was very friendly and efficient despite being really busy. Raclette was huge with plenty of cheese for 4 people despite only ordering 1 portion. Prices are high!!!! â¬â¬â¬â¬â¬ but then again so is everywhere in Flaine.... The desserts were expensive as expected but the ice cream was excellent quality and attractively served. However we also went here for breakfast. The servers were completely useless. They forgot pretty much everything so we waited ages and drinks were all cold by the time they remembered the food. Would not recommend.

My favorite place for over 10 years, spent unforgetable moments there but unfortunately the succes has turned the staff into arrogant people. After wating for over 20 min on a relatively empty terrace we started signaling but were being ignored. When we finaly atracted the attention of the guy clearing table he called out loud to a colleque, Please attent to this lady becuase she's in a bad mood' Well I was not yet, the sun was shining bright, but after this remark what would you do when the crowd stairs a you? Thinking maybe i did not speak French..... the waitress made it worse and continued the show, gossiping with the team. What a shame. Waiting is one thing being disrespectful is painful.

We are skiing in Flaine for a few days and already enjoyed two lunches at the Michet. It is important to reserve a table in advance, otherwise you will get no table. We enjoyed the Alpine atmosphere and seeing it full of clients, it is easy to see that people like it.The service was very friendly and efficient and despite the fact that the restaurant was full, the staff did not make any impression of stress. One has to be very professional to reach such a level. The food was excellent and the wine served of good quality. I particularly loved the dessert, Meringues with double cream from Gruyere and rasberries. I read in a few reviews that the restaurant is too expensive and the staff arrogant. My wife and I do not at all share that opinion. The prices are correct and if members of the staff were arrogant then I suppose the reason for it needs to be found on the clients side. Sometimes people treat restaurant staff like their servents and are surprised if the staff does stop smiling.

An excellent restaurant a short distance outside the ski resort of Flaine. Free transport in winter season. Pizzas delivery. Local specialities and gastronomic food . Amazing cocktails and excellent wine list. Pleasant service friendly staff. Open on wint
This place is a bit pricier than most in this resort. The quality of the food is good and the service friendly. Nice to be able to have some of the Savoy specialities by yourself for a 3⬠supplement, while often restaurants insist you order them for at least 2 people.
