We came here as the hotel was overpriced and this restaurant was recommended to us. Nice atmosphere inside or out. Good selection on the menu, we shared a tasting meal which was delicious. We did ask a few times for balsamic vinegar to have with the olive oil and bread. It was forgotten a few times too! We ate here twice in the week we stayed. I would say that the choice of restaurants in the local area are limited, so this is definitely the best out of the selection availableThe outside area basically looks out over the main road and parked cars, and overlooks the entrance to flats over the road. Not particularly romantic. Recommend if in the area.

The Osteria Antichi Sapori restaurant, immersed in the vineyards of the Pyrrhus Canal, near the renowned Selva di Fasano and the road to Alberobello, is an ideal place to rediscover and enjoy the delicacies of typical Apulian cuisine. The Osteria Antichi
We stumbled upon Antichi Sapori on our way from Polignano a Mare to Ostuni and were treated to the best meal we had in Italy. Everything was perfect about it - sitting outside with a gentle breeze blowing, tables covered with white linen - the epitome of an Italian lunch. We shared Puglia burrata and salumi, bocconcini and tomato salad, amongst other dishes. The winning dish was undoubtedly the lasagna -I've never tasted such delicate lasagna, with paper-thin sheets of pasta covered in a delectable meat sauce, very light on the cheese, which was beyond perfection. The staff was welcoming and service was impeccable. If travelling in Puglia, this osteria is well worth a detour. You won't be disappointed. After months that we can answer, we remember the votive stay in our restaurant in the cool of our two trees. We thank you for the nice words spent in the treatment we have reserved. We are waiting for you on your next trip here in Puglia. Peppino Laterza

Restaurant Le Capase, a jewel situated in the heart of the Itria Valley, is a perfect union of tradition, creativity and innovation. Set in an historic building with the whiteness of the stones, high vaulted ceilings, but with a modern touch. It is the pe
Serving the local food but not really with any style. Ok in terms of what we paid, but wouldn't rush back. Nice interior though and friendly staff.

This restaurant must be experienced within the gardens of Masseria Garappa in Monopoli. It is not only excellent for dinner, but the beautiful outdoor gardens are complemented with elegant service. Our food was gorgeously presented and very tasty. The prices were surprisingly good, too. I highly recommend this beautiful dining spot.

We spent two nights at Masseria Coccaro, and as part of the stay, they offer free access to the Coccaro Beach Club. This means access to the beach, the restaurant and free a lounge chair, towel and small umbrella. The beach is beautifully sandy, the water is clean, and the food in the restaurant is solid, if very expensive for the area. I have eaten better, and at a fraction of the cost, elsewhere in Puglia, but you are in a beach restaurant, so I am not complaining too loudly about the price/value ratio. The staff is professional and mostly friendly. Tip: if you are staying at the Masseria Coccaro, ask to borrow their bikes and make your way to the beach. It is an easy 6km ride.

Beautiful masseria with an antique main building/castle where we stayed and which I recommend. Garden and swimmingpool well kept. We had dinner there twice and very satisfied, Pity that there was no-one available to present us the local products of the masseria: oil, wine, etc. It would have been an added pleasant experience. Little suggestion for the restaurant: to add a couple of extra choices in the menu rather than just one per course.

Went here on a Saturday night on the recommendation of the Masseria where we were staying and that was probably why we ignored the signs of the impending ripoff. The restaurant was empty and we were promptly seated. A tray with the local seafood selection was presented but heavy emphasis was placed on the Scorpion Fish - Scorfano - and were repeatedly encouraged to try that as it was their recommendation - in hindsight no one with any sense would order it let alone pay an exorbitant price for it. But gullible us agreed. A primo piatto of raw vegetables was presented to us - we had not ordered it - and assumed stupidly that this was complimentary. Nope! We were charged for it in spite of not ordering it at Euro 10. The ârecommendationâ was even worse. The fish was presented very elegantly on a platter already cut up and consisted of mainly bones, fins, exoskeleton and scales. The fish meat barely made up 3 tablespoons - and that was full of fine bones that one had to pluck out of your mouth. All this inedible muck came at Euro 49.50! We left hurriedly having paid 85 Euros. This place has no shame. Avoid at all costs.

We have just returned from a week staying next door to the restaurant at the Sierra Sylvana hotel in Selva di Fasano (a nice enough hotel which is extremely clean) and were bowled over by the delights of Il Fagiano. The restaurant occupies a handsome large villa and is blessed with a series of elegant dining areas - beautifully decorated and furnished. The service was excellent - friendly and helpful but in no way overbearing. The food was a dream, whether ordered or just appearing as a 'little' extra, and minor variations to the make-up of dishes to meet one's preferences or appetite were accommodated with pleasure. For our second and third visits (there would have been more had it been open on Monday and Tuesday), we left the choice of wine entirely in the hands of our excellent waiter - a move which did not disappoint. We recommend Il Fagiano without reservation.

The cooking standard here is high , fine dining with beautiful presentation and lovely flavour combinations . Itâs such a surprise from an un-assuming but pleasant restaurant in a backstreet in Fasano . Eat outside on a warm summers evening to Maine it even better . In between courses friendly staff bring additional touches like a basil ice cream set in smoking dry ice before dessert . Ingredients are Italian and local but combined with modern twists like a savoury popcorn . Home made gnocchi with a pork crumb Ragu was delicious , salt cod with mushrooms and stracciaterra local buffalo cheese was perfectly cooked . Fabulous value for money including a good locally biased wine list
