Right on the slope. Stayed there 5 times and were always very happy. Nice, beautufully furnished and spotless rooms, most with a glorious view. The food is Michelin quality - that is if you stay in the hotel. The daytime buffet food is normal Italian - thousands of skiers stop there for refreshments or lunches. There is a huge teracce with a very comfortable open-air bar. Hardly any place so gorgeous anywhere near.

If you are in val di Fiemme you must eat there!! Just close your eyes and imagine some "canederli" dumplings covered with local melted butter.... A corn-pie (polenta) with melted cheese, mushrooms and bbq sausages. Chocolate cake and red wine! Open your eyes... In front of you the "pale di san martino mountains" a UNESCO protected site.

Baita Dovich stands for tradition and authenticity. One of the first restaurants in the area of the Marmolada, it was founded in 1962 thanks to the work of the Chizzali family that still continues to serve the unique flavours of the Dolomites on its table
We were 4 people for lunch, the view is beautiful (it is nicer sitting outside), great atmosphere. The food is very tasty, especially the tagliatelle with sausage and mushrooms, and the tagliatelle with deer meat. The place is inviting and very clean.Recommended!!!

Nice easy walk to get there, suggested for people of any age. Food is average as any other malga around, prices high as you should expect..at the end we are not in the middle of a city, right?! Waiters nice, just sometimes it took too long to catch their attention + looks like only one of them is the "incharge" to take orders...which results in delaying when you have around 30 (..or more?) tables of hungry tourists.

The Miralago cuisine is based on the care taken to use only genuine local produce. Everything is lovingly handmade, the pasta, pastries, bread, ravioli, treated cold cuts, the meat, cheeses, preserves, mustard, various styles of tagliatelle, venison stuff
The Miralago cuisine is based on strict local produce. Everything is prepared handmade, the pasta, pastries, bread, ravioli, etc. And what a difference that make! The meat, cheeses, preserves, are all locally produced. Mushrooms are picked from close-by forests. Located at the San Pellegrino pass, on the shore of a small pond, the restaurant sit in a superb location. Surrounded by majestic tops of the Marmolada and the Civetta mountains, the place oozes atmosphere, good-nurtured content, and appetite!Dear guests,What an amazing compliment and wonderful review to read. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. I'm pleased you found the tasting menu and our location so wonderful and special. We work hard to offer to our guests tasty and handmade dishes cooked with passion and high quality ingredients.I hope that we might be able to welcome you back again soon.Kind Regards,Miralago

We stopped and had a late lunch outdoors at the White Wolf. Breathtaking scenery, beautiful weather, great service. And the food! The food shows the cross-country heritage of a place that might be equal parts Italy, Germany and Austria. My grigliata mista was quite good, but the absolute hit of the meal was the polenta con formaggio & fughi. Grilled perfectly, with the tiniest bit of crust, there was just the right mix of crunch and melt-in-your-mouth lusciousness in every single bite. In our family, we tend to share a few bites of everyone's meal, but today it was practically a showdown as to who would get the most of this wonderful delight! Oh, and did I mention the scenery? Wow. We loved our stop at the Wellness Hotel!

Ambiente familiare e ottimo rapporto qualità /prezzo. Che dire...torneremo di sicuro.

Angelo and his family does a great job in keeping the Südtirol traditions in this family restaurant. The menu includes fantastic local produce of cold cuts and cheeses, excellent pasta dishes, polenta and a range of other dishes including the Schnitzel of course. Wine list is very good too, including a good selection from both Trentino and other Italian districts. Thursday evenings they arrange a Tirol-evening with a buffet.Skiing in opportunities from the excellent San Pellegrino ski area makes this a great lunch location which is further improved by a sunny terrace including the huge St Bernhard "Anton" strolling around the premises. Warmly recommended!

Tonight we had dinner at Rifugio Fuciade. To reach the restaurant cars must be parked when the road ends next to hotel Miralago, nearby Passo S. Pellegrino slopes. On arrival at the car park, the restaurant staff indicated us where to park. Then we set of in the woods with a snowcat and reached the restaurant in a few minutes. We had an OK dinner in the overcrowded basement of the âRifugioâ and eventually asked to be returned to the car park (chargeable service). This time instead of the snowcat we had an open air snowmobile. It is 10.30 pm, heavy snow, -5C. The ride was actually freezing but somewhat fun; at the end we were dropped off in the wood about 100m away from the car park. Once at the car park, there there was no longer any staff from Fuciade. Yet a number of other cars had parked and one of them was blocking us off: we were stuck in the snowstorm! It is freezing, we have a child with us, no staff to assist. I call the restaurant and they promise to look fast for the owner of the car. After about 20 minutes and a number of phone calls we are told that the owner is identified but all snowmobiles are in service thus we need to wait further until when the owner of the car that blocks us can be picked up. At this point I call the local police who then contacted the restaurant in turn. Finally things moved and after further 25 minutes finally someone arrived to move the vehicle. The driver explains that he it was the restaurant staff upon arrival to point him to the parking spot opposite our car and he assumed they would have then managed logistics with the other guests. In the meantime, the owner of Fuciade was declining all responsibility by phone, stating that it was all the driverâs (note - her customer!) fault. To cut a long story short: Fuciade is using a public car park that they staff when guests arrive to make sure they get up and dine. On the way back everybody disappears and you are left on your own. A totally irresponsible attitude considering that this is at high altitude in freezing weather conditions. Reality is that what probably used to be a local farmhouse has now outgrown to a busy touristy restaurant, bigger than the ability of the owners to properly manage it all.No courtesy, no apologies, just a lot of arrogance from someone who is just focussed on making money out of a special location. Does not matter though if after dinner you are left freezing with a young boy in the middle of a snowstorm. My reco: do not go! There are plenty of more genuine and better managed traditional restaurants in the area.
