Reviews on European food in Eskilstuna, Sodermanland County, Sweden. Perched serenely on the banks of a sparkling river, Eskilstuna is a charming medieval city in southeast Sweden. The trees near the towering Klosters church boast great puffs of pink blossoms, making for cinematic springtime. The Parken Zoo features animals from all over the world, including an impressive Komodo Dragon.

Love this place, very family friendly and very âSörmlandâ. Located on the countryside in beautiful surroundings. In the old barn they sell antiques and old stuff. The restaurant offer fika, lunch and dinner to affordable prices.

I ate breakfast here as part of the hotel, this was good. The meals in the evening were not that good and the service was very slow. Despite having business groups booked in they did not seem to have sufficient waiting and kitchen staff to cope on one evening in particular

Dined here over Midsummer Celebration weekend. Spacious, clean dining area. Pretty average eating experience. Limited menu on a Sunday (even during festival period)...and therefore could/should have been more inventive choice-wise. Prawn linguine tasty, pizzas enjoyed....starters average. No tiramisu!! Italian restaurant!!! Other dessert selection mediocre. Reasonable wine selection.Staff served food with a degree of efficiency. No real engagement otherwise. Shame it was it our last eating out night in Sweden.

I had the deer meat, absolutely fantastic! Swift and cunning staff! I have eaten there a lot especially at lunchtime. You don't have to wait for your food so you can eat, relax and have a coffee during you're lunch break. It is a nice place with a nice, calm attitude. Thank you!

I came here to have a dinner with a few colleagues and I couldn't understand a thing they were saying due to the loud music.Besides that, the burger I had was great and the beer is a "must try"!

A restaurant and bar inspired and influenced by glorious retro films, on the menu as well as the atmosphere.
We chose to have dinner at Biografbaren due to its #1 ranking on TripAdvisor. The restaurant is located about 1/2 mile from city center in a typical residential neighborhood. The retro cinema decor is a bit gimmicky, but fun. The menus were only available in Swedish and our server was very helpful in suggesting entrees. We shared a delicious burger but the ribeye was just average. Overall, I was expecting more from such a highly rated restaurant. Good, but not great.

Stopped in 2 nights and a row and am pleased I did. The first night was for a night cap after dinner at the local Greek restaurant. .. that turned into some great conversations with locals. The second night was time to try the food. I had the large Caesar salad, and am sad to report that I was underwhelmed. The chicken had an unexpected bone and the bowl shape was nicer to look at than actually try and cut food in. But I have to say, I say some burgers being carried out and they looked excellent. The drink assortment is awesome. I worked my way through the rums and appreciated the variety. This place is very cool for hanging with friends or making new ones and for a wayward traveller well appreciated. I'll be back.

Incredibly intimate restaurant with "local atmosphere" you feel like sitting in the middle of Madrid. The food is incredibly tasty, well-prepared and you do not sit long before the first dish is served. The waiters are sweet and courteous, this is definitely somewhere I come back to

I came for lunch with a friend and I was impressed with the lunch deal. Tasty food with variety of fresh grills. Salad and soft drinks are also included. Good choice for lunch.

Restaurant and café in an old part of Eskilstuna. Swedish healthy food, breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee. Clean eating, gluten- and wheat free. No soy, dairy or refined sugar. Vegan alternatives, children friendly, cosy environment. Almost 100 % organi
We enjoyed a traditional meal in this characterful wooden restaurant. Nice touches such as breads, salad and coffee and homemade biscuits laid out in the original kitchen all included as part of the lunch to help ourselves to.The Elk meatballs with mashed potatoes were delicious, just the sort of Swedish food we were hoping to eat! The restaurant is situated within the historical Rademacher forges village, worth a walk around reading the information boards and the preserved wooden buildings.
