Got in this restaurant for a business dinner as I was staying in the Best Western, I had a super be service, the guys are really prepared and helpful, and I had no problem even talking zero French. One main course (lamb ribs and vegs) one glass of wine and a complimentary starter was 29⬠in the bill, honest for the kind of restaurant. Suggested!

Chose this restaurant for lunch en-route to Switzerland. We each had a pasta dish with salad - the pomodoro sauce was fresh, homemade and delicious as was my partners fungi sauce, pasta not overcooked. It is obviously popular with locals judging by the number of diners enjoying their lunch break. We sat outside with our little dog in a clean contemporary setting. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. I would recommend this restaurant.

Visited here many times with work colleagues, they catered for all of us, even the middle eastern guys who wanted their steaks well done, clearly not the usual here! My medium rare steaks were up there with any in good I've had across the globe.Highly recommended.

The restaurant was recommended by us by the b and b where we stayed at. Nice terrace and friendly service. The food was rather disappointing though. In all fairness, the salad was not fresh. One of our party got sick the next day as well. Admittedly, the owner did not charge the salad, at her own initiative, which was a nice gesture. Still, it was a bit of a bad experience. Maybe it was just bad luck, judging by other more positive comments on TripAdvisor.

We have eaten at Le Bistrot several times and experienced some wonderful flavour combinations with a real emphasis on quality ingredients which makes for fabulous food. The location is lovely with a gorgeous terrace, great hospitality and great array of wines to compliment the food. Service is excellent and friendly and there is a real sense of a chef that cares and is passionate about giving diners the best local seasonal ingredients cooked to perfection.....definitely the place to visit in gorgeous Epinal

We booked several days ahead and were pleased to find on the evening that we had been placed outside on a balmy summer evening. One waitress served a large number of tables with speed, courtesy and efficiency. We chose the menu of the day (26 euros). Aperitifs included excellent tapenade but soggy croutons. Starter - tartare of 2 salmon was absolutely delicious. Magret de canard with apricots was fine but would have been better if it had been more rare. The dessert was a big let down for all in our party (we each tried different ones).

Beautiful house from the end of the 19th century constructed in Germanic Tudor style and located in the heart of the city of Epinal.
We had the tasting menu on a busy Saturday evening. . . very often a challenge for any kitchen. This was not the case for us as each course was impeccably served, beautifully presented and a very enjoyable treat to all the senses. The universal favorite at our table was the foie gras with beet sorbet. None at the table experienced this synergistic marriage of flavors into a new and unique experience. To say it was marvelous does not do it justice. Cheese lovers will enjoy the large selection on the cheese trolley; and, of course, those who favor desserts, will thoroughly enjoy the three dessert courses. The pre-dessert, the dessert trolley selections and the post-dessert.
