This fine Valencia restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, really good paella and other authentic traditional Valencia food. It is patronized mainly by locals who have been coming here quite often for years, but in the know tourists often dine here as well. Prices are reasonable and parking is no problem. Because it is so popular, reservations are a must and its usual excellent service can get a bit behind, on occasion. Donât be afraid to be a little adventuresome in what you order. The dishes are well made from recipes that have been passed down for generations.

The ample portion meant we had leftovers & we asked in Spanish to take them with us. They said no problem but we never received them. The waiter just ignored us the rest of our time there-too bad as that left a bad taste for us after such a nice meal.

Typical restaurant with a warm atmosphere and a combination of traditional food and market cuisine.
Great place where you can eat paella, anguila or other famous spanish specialities. I spent 27 euro for a starter with anguila, fidegua, a coffee and a bottle of wather. The food was really good.. i'm always very critic but this time i was really satisfacted. Highly raccomanded.

Small and familiar restaurant specialized in rice, our specialties the seafood paella, the paella of carabineros, the paella of lobster, let us advise you with our selection of Valencian wines that will surprise you.
This is a very small typically simple Spanish restaurant. It is simply decorated and certainly not salubrious, however more importantly it was spotless, well furnished and nicely presented. The place seems to be run by a family with only one person serving, however, here's the rub, the service was excellent. The waiter was extremely helpful, and very pleasant. Now to the food. My oh! my. This is food to really savour. The two starters we shared were lovely home made croquets but the cuttlefish in mushrooms and asparagus was simply delicious. We had pre-ordered the seafood paella which you need to do when you book a table, which you MUST. The place is very much a little tourist haven and the owner had to turn people away who had not reserved, so reservation is essential. The paella, had the most wonderful flavour and cooked to perfection. For desert, the home made carrot cake was moist and delicious and the chocolate and orange cheese cake was different and fantastic. Now here's he other rub. For a meal like that with sparking water and two beers, two coffees only came to â¬59.Will I go back, most definitely and the maximum of 5 discs is not enough for Pasqualet. It is already rated the number one in El Palmar and it is certainly going to stay there serving food like it does. Long may it thrive.

We have booked the place as we are all from Valencia and weâve been before and the views are nice. Through the booking was good the day before some of us were expecting to see and improvement the last couple of times weâve been. Unfortunatelly, that wasnât the case.We arrived promtly ahead of the booking and we were told to go away and comeback right at 15:30. So we went just to their tables outside, grabbed a beer and waited to 15:30. No food served outside.Once we cameback at 15:30, they cleaned a table and had us sit there. No table cloth or cuttlery. That lasted for 25 minutes until what seemed the owner brought us cuttlery. We waited 10 more minutes and requested for a menu. Menwhile we could see other clients were getting anxious and staff was out of control. We waited for a 10 more minutes, saw the table next to us with children asking to be served after a long wait and the owner getting deffensive. It didnât look as they were understaff or was a particularly busy day however seemed as there was no organization. At 16:15, after having waited 45 minutes and requested someone to serve us a number of times weâve decided to leave the place. Itâs was a lovely place to go years ago but although weâve gave it another go, both the lack of aervice this time and Paella quality the past two experiences on the last 24 month made all of us agree that regretfully we wonât be coming back.Luckly for us, we found a place that accomodated us for a late lunch and saved the day.

This amazing place located in Catarroja old town, a few meters from the train station, has an exceptional cuisine able to present the Mediterranean and autochthonous dish ever, with that absent creative extravagance and desserts irresistible. It's hard no
Sunday night after watching Valencia beat Barcelona at basketball, lots of places closed because it's Sunday. Tripadvisor and Viu came up trumps. Friendly welcome from enthusiastic young couple in a place that's only been open just over a year but is definitely worth finding.Maybe the wine list could be more extensive, maybe it's a little expensive by local standards, but the quality and care easily make up for it. Go and enjoy!

This restaurant is out of the way and it will take some effort to find it, but it will be worth your while. The. Rune and service are excellent. We had various delicious starters followed by an excellent paella.

Visited Llar Roman for dinner with family during our visit to Valencia. Amazing restaurant, good food complemented by great service. Cannot daily with anything. Paella was extremely delicious - chicken, rabbit & snails. If you are in the area, itâs definitely worth the visit as the restaurant is out of the tourist circle.

If you have gone to the beaches of the south of Valencia, you can always enjoy a rice dish, or great seafood/fish fare in this place. This is what an elegant restaurant in the beach should be. We ate here sometimes, but we found really surprising that they did a couple of weddings here, as the restaurant offers raw views to the nudist beach. I guess Valencians are known for being open minded people, after all.
