Reviews on European food in Durbuy, Luxembourg Province, Belgium. The “smallest town” on earth, Durbuy, is just 2 hours from Brussels. With a population of 500, Durbury has maintained its charming medieval setting, another Belgium village to relax and enjoy the beauty of history. The city’s first castle was built around 889, awarded “city” status in 1331. Today its pedestrian streets are narrow, flowered and cobbled, winding between the old bluestone homes and buildings, attracting tourists to its shops, fine restaurants and hotels. In December, the streets are alive with Christmas markets. Adventurists can also kayak or raft the Ourthe River that passes through the city. Must-see Durbuy attractions include the Topiary Park, The Belvedere, The Confiturerie Saint-Amour, and with a last thirst-quenching stop at the Marckloff Brewery.

This restaurant is authentic, nice decorated. From my seat I could see the kitchen, ladies with style coocking. Good foor, even better wine. it looked a bit like a tourist trap but it was not.Mooie zaak, stijlvolle dames die het bestieren, lekker eten, erg knap ingericht. Aanrader.

This is a nice local restaurant in a small village, with a very nice atmosphere. It is not too big, and you could just sit here all evening in this relaxed, but popular, ambiance. The food is good and the prices very reasonable, so it gets my recommendation.

We ate pizza& pasta at this pizzeria on a busy public holiday night. The pizza was of decent quality, the pasta was not bad but not great either. The wine list is basic and of average to high price level. Our Sicilian Nero D'avola was certainly fine though. The inside atmosphere is below average: very limited outside view from within and very busy inside due to all the take away clients waiting for their order.

Had a good time there and it was something to remember. I mean, there are some tastes that you just cannot forget and there are others that, good and elaborated as they be, just go away the next day. I will remember the taste of the osso bucco for a long-long time, congrats to the chef. The only question mark was a hint of some industrial broth in the risotto. That's a big no-no for me, but maybe not for others.

In their culinary restaurant, Koen & Laurence Timmerman cultivate their art in order to fulfil your wishes ! IN THEIR KITCHEN, PRIORITY IS GIVEN TO CREATIVITY AND EVERYTHING THAT CAN BRING OUT REAL TASTE. The chef loves to work with fish and vegetables in
Bit remote, few mile out of centre up in the hills Nicely redecorated. Good ambiance and very friendly family running this. We took the advised lunch and it was more than worth the money. Nice bottle of wine and all happy!

We visited Mama Gusto a busy Friday evening, during a 3-day stay in the area. The service was excellent, it wasnât noisy despite being full and the wine selection was very good. We tried the pizzas that were very tasty (albeit not the Napoli thin crust) and the cognac-baked prawns just perfect. The portions are really large and almost everybody left carrying doggy bags for the next day. After being disappointed several times dining in Durbuy, Mama Gusto was a very nice discovery.

This charming hotel was very nice and found accidentally while looking for a room in town. It was our first stop and looked very cute from the outside. It was our luck to find a room for one night and also they serve excellent food in their restaurant. The owners run this property, husband is a chef and wife seems to take care of the rooms and all the administrative duties. Nice rooms and very quiet. Just a few minutes away from downtown. Lovely small streets and historical buildings, church and cute shops. If you like something romantic, this is a lovely town to see during your trip to Belgium. Definitely recommend this hotel and their dinner menu prepared by the owners. Nouvelle cuisine with fixed menus.

Charming little house with a beautiful garden giving the whole a note both contemporary but warm and intimate. A beautiful kitchen in the times and based on seasonal product .
We woke up this morning and thought today we just want to have a lovely lunch in a beautiful restaurant and we read some reviews for restaurants in the Wallone and found tLa Table de Manon. We are so glad we did, it fulfilled our hopes. The restaurant is a really lovely space, I don't think that the photos really show what an elegant and restful place it is. We were impressed by the menu, and my sister who has a lot of allergies was excited to hear that the chef was happy to adjust recipes to meet her needs. Each of our meals (we had asparagus and seat bread entree, amb and fish for ) were lovely. The meals looked beautiful when they arrived on the table, The flavours were subtle and complex with rich and delicious sauces. We finished with a lovely rice pudding with a tropical (largely mango) sauce.Dear TroppoRaatus ,You made our day ! Thank you so much for your kind words, we are really happy to know that you enjoyed your time at our restaurant ! Looking forward welcoming you again Manon

Durbuy was empty and most roads under construction so when we found out Ardennaise was opened we jumped there without looking much. What a great luck. The place serves delicious hot chocolate and very good cappuccino. Plenty of options for snacks. Also servers were really nice and spoke v good English
