Heading north to Istria we decided to explore this beautiful and peaceful bay in the Kornatis islands and we were not disappointed. It was simply stunning and the weather has blessed us with ideal conditions. We dined at this lovely taverna for dinner... firstly the staff were warm and welcoming and very helpful with our selections which always sets a good tone for the evening and we had a great table on the edge overlooking the bay.We started with the zucchini carpaccio which was superb... fresh and extremely tasty. This was followed by the grilled squid which sat on a bed of tomatoes and capers and the veal chop with wonderful wasabi mash and grilled vegetables.simple but so delicious!!!I canât recommend this place enough... slightly more expensive than the normal Konoba but so worth it... we hope to have another visit on our way back at the end of our trip.
Our family of 4 ate here this week, and we enjoyed the food and the view (though the prices are a tough high) and we had a great meal and would return without question.

Konoba Marin is a small family restaurant located in the center of Sali with most beautiful old courtyard. Visit us and enjoy great food at reasonable prices in most lovely atmosphere you can find on the island :)
It is a bit hidden and easy to miss, so pay attention while visiting.Great food, really reasonable prices, relaxing atmosphere...we will definitely come back!

Dined with several friends. As are a lot of island restaurants, this one is at the marina edge and allows nice views of the harbour. Our waitperson was friendly and professional and assisted some of us with information about the meals. My wife and I shared fried squid with chips and it was very good. All our meals were nicely presented and we left happy. Recommended

We enjoyed our pizzas at this pleasant restaurant. It doesn't have the same sea view as the other restaurant in the village but it was better value. The waiter kindly boxed the pizza we couldn't eat. Only downside was the long and unexplained wait when the wrong pizza was brought for my partner.

We had dinner with friends. Place is nice, in quiet little village. Fish soup was nice, wild fish (croatian name zubatac) excellent and chocolate cake was delicoous also. Were friendly owners (it's family owned restourant) who can recommend you what they have that day. Definitely would recommend.

We are a family run restaurant with a B&B and apartments. We pride ourselves on preparing locally sourced fresh fish and scampi, we grow and prepare our vegetables and salad and serve everything straight from our garden to the table (via the grill!)We also
Keen to try the Peka so we made a return. Not disappointed, melt in the mouth local Calamari and home grown potatoes. Owner also grows his own vegetables so carrots that tasted like they should. Fruit cake was amazing, again home made. We are always made to feel welcome by the family.

Top local specialties, including fresh fish and, and on topo of that some original extra stuf that you will not find in the neighbourhood, like e.g. amazing Duck breasts, that are on the level of best french restaurants in Europe, or cuttlefish stew with fava beans. Also, the stuffed squids (calamari, or 'Lignje' in Croatian), are a specialty of this restaurant. We have eaten here several times, as the prices are reasonable and the food is amazing. We can recommend starting with the local goat cheese from a nearby village, and some marinated or salted anchovies, both are delicious.Service is excellent, and that was another reason why we kept returning to this place.

Barbecue with wooden tables sea front in the quiet village of Verunic in Dugi otok. We offer local and fresh products following the receipts of our grandmother. 2 and 4 stars apartment available.
The Ambient is pleasant, near the sea and under the palm trees, with stone terrace and plants all around. Staff is welcoming and service is fast, good selection of different meals (grill & kitchen), Croatian wine and beer is also offered and Olive oil tastes excellent. The taste is always very individual matter, so it's hard to say what is special - the spices that have been used for the octopus with potatoes under the bell I did not like so much, however the family enjoyed that. Wish you all nice day...Dear BV61,thank you for visiting us and for taking time to write a review. We are glad to read that your family enjoyed the meal: pity that you did it less! We wish you nice holidays in Dugi otok and send kind regards from Verunic,Miriam, Gianni and the Staff

Trapula is located in the centre of Sali. We have a closed and an open terrace to accommodate lot of people. If you need nice view there is one terrace on harbor, or more romantic place without sea view there is our second terrace in small street. Modern
Excellent service and very tasty food, everything we tried was perfect. Above all a very nice atmosphere and placement of outdoor seating in the small street, refreshing from the summer heat.
