For the last night in Sydney we were looking for a nice place and a good meal and a kind waitress in our hotel suggested this place.The area is amazing, the restaurant nice and calm and the food overal good, despite quite elaborate: more close to french cousine than spanish, but quuge interesting!We asked for Sangria, that they slso not offer, and they propose their spritz that has nothing to do with a real Spritz!Overall, the experience was good sonwr reccoment it.Hola,Thank you kindly for taking the time to write this great review. A packed restaurant on a Saturday night we had no booking, however they fit us in with ease. Great service and food. Recommend the Crab Lasagne. The trifle desert was huge, I would recommend sharing with someone.

Very glad we left the nearby pub to try this vastly superior alternative. The staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was casual and warm, the noise level meant you could have a conversation at your table, and the food was excellent. We really enjoyed the zucchini flowers and the salmon. The Balmain bug pasta was excellent and the pork belly was very generous and the best we have tasted. The winner overall was the extraordinary bougasta (custard parcels) for dessert. So delicious. Very impressed and we will return. Yummy.

Four of us dined here on a groupon deal which included three courses and a cocktail. We all enjoyed our meals, I had escargot, perfectly cooked duck and the cheese plate. It's a very established restaurant with great staff, very popular with tourists. We all agreed we had a great time and would return.

Have been here numerous times before but first time under new chef and with new menu. Not impressed. Some favourites have been retired (barramumdi) with new ones such as barbounia and snapper not up to scratch as they were way overcooked. The entrees have gone bland from their previous sharp tastes. Best on the night was the imported baklava and the coffee for which I will go again for - after having dinner elsewhere!

we had a combined room/dinner package. The atmosphere of the restaurant was small and cosy but the other people never felt intrusive. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much of a problem for them. Menu was interesting and well thought out in that the portions were such that you could share easily because of the way they were prepared. Also i felt the pricing very reasonable including the drinks.

Who would have thought, A french Bistro in traditional Italian area of Sydney.We had been meaning to try this Bistro for quite some time and finally got there.Menu is full of classics. We opened with the onion soup and steak tartare both dishes ticked the box. For mains we had Beef Bourguignon and the Duck Cassoulet. The beef was as expected as was the Duck, however the duck was a bit skimpy on the beans, chorizo and gravy. $9 for a side of veggies was not value for money.Deserts were great and the 3 cheeses we had were ripe and well presented.Service staff were knowledgeable. Based on high TA ratings we pre-booked this small but popular caffe for an early dinner.Our food choices were well cooked traditional pasta and meat dishes and the support of locals was obvious, including take-away service. By Sydney pricing standards the food was very good value and overall we had a very good experience.

Light & Modern French Fine Dining, yet with BYO.Could be described as Modern Australian with French influences or Lighter French Cuisine. Quality rather than quantity; starting from the initial bread with lovely olive oil and balsamic vinegar dipping sauce, progressing to the ceviche king fish entre & twice cooked pork belly with well balanced accompanying sauce and salad.My partners scallop entre and duck main were also very good.The restaurant has a lovely relaxed décor, with tables not too close together allowing easy conversation without having to raise ones voice. The wine prices are very reasonable, but if you have a favourite bottle of red at home take it with you as will only cost you $10 corkage.Only minor whinges are that steamed vegetables were string beans only and that waiters were slightly on the under attentive side.
