This is a must try restaurant and is why booking is advisable. Inside can be a little cramped when full but still worth it. The food is truly delicious and there are plenty of options for all foodies. The fish and meat dishes (I've tried many) are presented well and taste great. Good service from the team of enthusiastic waiters makes this restaurant one of the nicest in Dornbirn.

At the Rolls Royce Museum there is a beautiful cafe with tables under tall shade trees. Typical Austrian Food, beautiful presentation, English speaking waiter named Raymond, fair Price-what more can a Tourist ask for. A lovely experience

You can take the cable car up and/or down to this panoramic restaurant. We chose to walk up and it took the best part of an hour and 15 mins. The walk up is very steep in parts, but picturesque and cool under the trees. The cable car back down cost 5 euros each. You visit this restaurant for the view, not necessarily for the food. It has outside seating with fantastic views, but also great views from the purpose built glass indoor areas. A recent addition is a sky walk - a platform seemingly floating above the steep drop. The food offered was typical local fayre, but also offered some vegetarian and fish options. The food was okay, with service that was not exactly attentive and occasionally a bit grumpy, but as I said you go here for the views. Highly recommended and we hope to visit again.

Okay. You have been looking, in different places and for a long time, for the best Wienerschnitzel that can be found. You have endured a lot of both peculiar and odd-looking examples of this dish. And now you want to eat something good. Here you are! Wienerschnitzels to die for, and in huge amounts. They even have them in different sizes: "Wiener Schnitzel in den GröÃen S / M / L / XL". You are guaranteed not to leave the table hungry. Enjoy.

âBased on good local food but open to international trendsâ is how our head chef, Walter Feurstein, desccribes his approach to cooking. Together with his faithful team of 6-7 cooks and 5-6 trainees, he has been cooking âsomething to please everybodyâ or th
It is a very good place to stay or just have a fine meal. A few Generations of the Rhomberg Family have successfully served the Dornbirn Business Population .It is geared up for Tourism and only the more effluent locals would go there. You always pay a premium for Snob Value.

We were traveling through Dornbirn, and most restaurants had already stopped serving lunch. It was pleasant to sit outside at Bierlokal on the edge of the pedestrian zone. We wished we had more time to explore the town itself. We had a salad and wienerle (long "hotdogs" with no bun, served with mustard and horseradish). Staff were pleasant. Only negative if you are elderly, the toilets were down two flights of stairs.

Helpful waiters, a rare commodity in some places, excellent food and such a fantastic setting in a traditional Austrian town square. We were really impressed by Dornbirn as a destination, a little over shadowed by Bregenz and lake Konstanz, but the area has so much to offer a brilliant Rolls Royce Museum and a Gorge of amazing proportions and it looks like some where from Lord of The Rings! So worth a visit

Stayed at the hotel and had dinner at the restaurant. Food was good, service too. Had some exciting wines in the wine list, too. So that part of the experience merits a four, or four plus. Breakfast was Worth five, easily. Super! Fabulous breakfast, best ever! Would go for that alone!

Being a true "Dornbirner", I eat here often, alway enjoy this place and can recommend it highly to everyone. The cuisine is mediterranean, I´d say the dishes are mostly Italian inspired, because of the owners Italian roots, but sometimes the established Austrian side appears in the menu, as for the traditional Gulasch, the day before christmas. No Pizza on the menu, but you can get Pizza around the corner at the Dönerstand ;) Who needs Pizza anyway, when you can have real Italian food like Cozze e Vongule, Saltimbocca, Piccata Milanese, Pasta in all forms etcetera etcetera.... The menu varies and never gets boring. For lunch they prepare good value meals, combining a salad as starter and a main plate for ⬠9,- as I have in mind. Occasionally in the warm summer month, they host events outside with live music, a BBQ and an "all-you-can-eat buffet"... really a hint and you should make a reservation in advance.Gabriel runs this place in a familiar style, always in the mood for a joke and chat with his guests. I guess in Italy you could call this place a Trattoria and that´s fantastic!

We went here for birthday celebrations recently and it was nice. The atmosphere is nice and the service is good. I ordered a steak and asked for it to be well done and sadly it wasnât well done at all. I had to ask the waiter to make sure it was well done and then when it came back, it was slightly burnt and our friends were already half way through their meals. We also ordered the garlic bread and only 2 slices were garlic and the other 2 were covered in some kind of tomato purée. It was nice though and pleasant to eat there - a little pricey but nice for a treat every now and then.
