Amy, Joe and Lewis work hard to deliver memorable dining experiences whilst always ensuring their menu ideas are fresh and innovative to keep everyone's tastebuds tingling!
Dropped in with a pal for breakfast, we both decided in the Chick-Flick: consisting of Spicy tomato chickpea chimichurri with Spanish chorizo, poached eggs and toast. With a skinny latte. The coffee firstly is amazing; great bean, full of flavour, well made and at the correct temperature. The breakfast was amazing. Eggs poached to perfection, the chickpea base stunningly flavourful and the sourdough toast amazing. Service was superb and they didnât put a foot wrong. Well ok, one minor gripe, the waitress when asked about the chimmichurri described it as an Asian spice! In fact it turned out to be mayonnaise with some herbs and not chimmichurri at at all. But that aside it was an amazing breakfast and I will be back, as Iâm eager to try the Breakfast Burrito that I saw served and looked amazing. Well done team, keep it up!!

French Bistrot and Restaurant based in Totnes, Devon. Serving 2 separate menus: lunches Wednesday to Sunday and our restaurant is open Thursday to Saturday evenings from 6:30pm. Our lunches and evening meals include vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free option
An intriguing little courtyard led us to this nice surprise when we were wandering round Totnes this lunchtime. I had a crepe complet, which was pleasantly authentic and the Mem Sahib was delighted with her roast duck. Service was prompt and friendly and the chef popped out to check that everyone was happy with his cooking. Just the job - we'll be back.Thank you Roger! We're very happy you enjoyed your food - and our sunny courtyard.... Best wishes. Jo & Philippe

I visited this bustling bistro with my daughter and grandson. We enjoyed delicious crab mayo sandwiches which were served with crispy chips. The bread was fresh and the generous salad filling was a perfect accompaniment to the crab. We will definitely return to try out the interesting à la carte menu!

Staying at Stoke Gabriel for the weekend we went in to Totnes on Friday evening looking for a "dog friendly" restaurant as opposed to the usual pub evening. We stumbled across Rumour and although fully booked they managed to squeeze us in if we would vacate the table by 19:30. Service was welcoming, friendly and very efficient. We both had the Chef's "fishmarket supper" , 3 courses for £15. The mussels were glorious and plenty of them followed by fresh grilled sardines with a beautiful salad and chips, rounded off by sticky toffee pudding. We could not find fault with the meal, fresh ingredients beautifully cooked and presented. We enjoyed are food so much we went back for lunch on Sunday and once again enjoyed every aspect of the food, service and ambience!

Contemporary Devonian Dining creating dishes from the finest local produce both farmed and foraged. Hedge, River, Field, Kitchen
We had an excellent evening here - a seven course set menu with organic wines - consistently beautifully presented and cooked. Excellent brill, venison, English cheese and desserts. There were some lovely extra touches : amouse bouche up front, great macarons with coffee and biscuits to take home (to prove you didnât dream the whole thing). The best thing - very hard to pick because of the evenness of the quality (so rare) - probably the boiled egg. Yup - a boiled egg. No more spoilers - youâll just have to go to find out why.

We visited for the first time a week ago and were enthralled by the small, intimate cornucopia of our surroundings. Bianca and Massimo took the time to explain the menu for the evening, using fresh, organic ingredients. It was presented to us with such care to detail and each dish was an explosion of colour and flavour. What a gem.Dear Barbara W,thank you so much for your kind review. We are glad you enjoyed your visit and we sincerely look forward to your next one :-) cheers! bianca e massimo
