Came here on a Saturday night with several friends. This is a terrific place to come to have a quick drink and listen to music before heading out for an evening of entertainment. Did not try the food but since it was crowded I'm assuming the food is terrific.

Il ristorante EL COQ si trova in Piazza dei Signori a Vicenza, di fronte alla splendida Basilica Palladiana e vanta di essere l'unico ristorante Stellato Michelin della città . Lo Chef è il giovane Lorenzo Cogo
I am going to be brief. It was terrible. Everything served to all six of us. We waited a long time for anything to be served. After 90 minutes and inedible starters we asked for both the bill and the opportunity to speak to the chef. Although we could see him clearly behind the plate glass window separating the dining room and the kitchen, the waiter said he wasn't there. Well, ducking down below the level of the window does not constitute "not here." The place is a shambles and a sham. There is better food at almost anywhere else. Vergognatevi. We dropped in here out of curiosity and ended out getting Bacalao lasagna, duck ragu (which we put on tagliatelle) plus some mortadella and culatello ham, which we brought back to our Airbnb. All excellent quality and delicious. Staff really helpful and friendly too! Tried to go again two days later but it was Sunday and just closing. Boo boo.

I had the opportunity to discover Cricheoln for lunch while on business in Vicenza. This restaurant is located at the top of a huge hill and is surrounded by vineyards. The food at the restaurant for lunch was top notch high end family cooking. The plates are not fancy but are authentic northern Italian dishes. During our meal we were treated with sparking white wine to start our meal. My appetizer consisted of Baccalà mantecato con crostini al burro e polenta brustolita . This fish dish was perfectly prepared. For my main dish, I ordered Scampi in pasta Kataifi su daddolata di verdurine croccanti. The pasta was prepared al'dente and the fish blend just melted in your mouth. This meal was accompanied by a nice bottle of white wine. We enjoyed our great meal while enjoying the great view overlooking the hills.I will definitely come back for lunch or dinner and may also consider staying at the hotel which is located on the top of the hill next to the restaurant. Overall great atmosphere and fabulous food at moderate prices.

I was there once with a colleague, being advised by counterparts, and had a very pleasant experience. Fish is their specialty and is really good; I had a "Rana pescatrice al forno", my colleague tuna. Also the choice of craft beers is very good: they are from Friulan microbrewery Gjulia. The only minor disappointment was the tiramisù, definitely less appealing than the one I tasted at Trattoria dei Gobbi.

Restaurant, cafe, wine bar and cocktail bar. Ideal location for every moment of the day, from breakfast to the quick and tasty lunch break, from quality dinner to after dinner with international cocktails.
I stopped here for dinner after a full day of travel. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. The back patio area is a little oasis. The wait staff were accommodating for me, the foreign traveler. They kindly provided a menu in English and were quick to seat me and take an order. They brought out some bread with a vegetable quinoa spread and some crisps, along with a bottle of sparkling water. The appetizer I ordered was an amazing smoked salmon tartare. The waitress paired it nicely with a semi-dry white wine (two glasses). I followed that with the spaghetti with clams, which was delizioso. Finally, I tried the crema Catalana for dessert. It was a nice ending to a long day. Total price, â¬41,50.

The restaurant has a capacity of 120 seats with a private room that allows you to celebrate the important moments in the utmost privacy. Heats the room an ancient stone fireplace of Vicenza, which creates on winter evenings, the sweet atmosphere of togeth
Very short walk from the Vergilius Hotel. Had an Angus Steak that very tasty and tender to the point of being able to cut it with one's fork. Pasta well prepared. Excellent and professional staff. Our waiter - Orlando - was very attentive and helpful. Very clean upper end Golf Club with a view of the greens from the table. Very pleasant - will come back without hesitation. Thanks for the review.

We had dinner here last night. We went for the meat tasting menu at 45 euros a head. For this we got water, a selection of starters, two types of pasta, two types of main and one pudding and coffee. But what we found great was that the price also included a glass of well chosen wine to match each course. Including a welcome glass of Prossecco. The decor has the feel of a holiday camp and you half expect after the plates had been cleared to have a game of bingo. But the food was exceptional and the staff warm and friendly. We shall definitely return.

This place is classy and the food is original and delicious. Different than the usual Italian fare, but still similarities to make it Italian. The waiter/owner was very friendly, spoke awesome English, and told us a little about the dishes we were ordering. They work hard here, are very busy, and popular.
