This fantastic restaurant deserves to be top of an already impressive list of restaurants in Conil.Sitting on Calle Cadiz next to Ligero, it's easy to see how it might be missed, but don't let it pass you by.It's small and authentic, run with passion by the owner, a local Conilean, Patricia. But rather than Just produce the same, albeit delicious local food, la mejorana takes these ingredients and turns them into spectacular dishes that impress and delight. It's nouvelle cuisine conilean style and it will bring you back time and again.Try the croquetas de carne, ensalade de gambones, corvina and the pork parcels. Or any of the dishes to be honest , you won't be disappointed.

Traditional restaurant with a modern touch. With a large menu of fish, brought in daily from the fish market of Conil. With great presence of wild red tuna from the almadraba, cooked in traditional or Japanese style dishes. Located on the beach of La Font
Make sure you reserve a table if you want to sit on the front of the terrace to watch the sun set. Fish menu was outstanding, hard to choose but menu available in English, always a help. Staff efficient and helpful.

Fab location right on the beach. Food and drinks and service excellent. We did lunchtime, can get very busy especially in the evenings for sunset watchers. Big of a hike from car to restaurant. Not perfect for people with walking difficulties. Food allergies vegetarians, Gluten Free incl GF beer catered for with many choices. Will definitely be back.Highly recommended.

The reason I wish we'd gone to this restaurant sooner is because the extra time would have given us more opportunity to re-visit. The draught beer is excellent and the food is flavourful and absolutely delicious. We started our meal with the Ahumados y Langostinos to share between the two of us. It was absolutely delicious. The flavour of the red tuna was incredible. And the smoked salmon and the smoked white fish were incredible. Mix it all with the dressing and the salad and my mouth is already watering in memory of it all. For the second course my wife had Lagarto Ibérico con salsa mostaza y miel con patata fritas. The small amount she shared with me convinced me to order it next time we went to this wonderful restaurant. I had the Milhoja de presa ibérica. Impossible to believe, I know, but this was even more delicious than my wife's dish. The combination of flavours were to die for. Finally we each had the Coulant de chocolate. Slightly disappointing because each was slightly overcooked and the liquid chocolate sauce didn't flow, but in spite of that, the whole meal experience was excellent. We've already booked to go back in 3 nights. And I cannot wait. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys delicious food. Enjoy. Go. Enjoy!

We found Casa Mercedes through positive Tripadvisor reviews. What a super find! Nice pleasant uncluttered decor, clean white tablecloths and napkins and a very friendly and helpful hostess assisted by 2 young men - possibly family. Best of all though is the original menu, something hard to find in this part of Spain in moderately priced restaurants. I started with a cold leak salad topped with melt-in-the-mouth strips of marinated beef and my sister, prawns on a bed of black cous-cous. For mains, wild boar in a dark chocolate sauce and chips (much nicer than it sounds), and John Dory in a creamy sauce with beans. We had deserts of lemon meringue and a light cheesecake but didn't really need them as we were already full up. Helpings are a good size. An excellent bottle of Ribero del Duero red was only 17â¬. Total for a notably enjoyable unhurried dinner out, about £25 per head. Plus ample parking around the side streets in that part of Conil slightly away from the centre. Looking forward to returning.

Handmade italian food prepared with spanish products.
We came here on the basis of the TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. First of all, it can be a bit difficult finding the restaurant as Itanolo has moved to the site of another restaurant and much of the signage is still in the old name. Look for the Itanolo menus and road guards. The staff were very friendly. We all ordered pizzas - the choice was great and they were delicious. Despite the quality, we have paid more for âsnacksâ in the local area, so the prices were amazing. What is great is that they offer both tomato and white sauce based pizzas which is unusual. Definitely a great place for a great value meal.

We enjoyed a lovely family lunch here: atún roja, presa Iberia, pulpo and asparagus with Parmesan. Everything was nicely prepared. Would highly recommend to families or couples!

Dirección familiar, cuidado y mimo en los detalles, todo en un entorno encantador con grandes jardines, tarima de madera, y siempre manteniendo la esencia de esta zona rural.
This is a delightful semi outdoor restaurant, under a canopy in a lovely garden. The restaurant is busy, and well organised by friendly, attentive but not fussy staff. The ambience is relaxed, and the focus is very much on the food. Starters show plenty of choice; we had superb croquetas and a plate of tempura anchovies. Be warned; the plate of anchovies is massive, and plenty for two as a starter or even a light lunch! Given the area, the red tuna is a must try, and a whole section of the menu is devoted to this local delicacy. We were not disappointed; serving tuna as a tartare or sashimi style demands the freshest and highest quality fish, and thatâs exactly what we got. Tartare was served on a guacamole style base, and was subtly marinaded. The sashimi had been seared very quickly with a coating of sesame and poppy seeds, then served with wasabi and a soy dip. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Sharing from each otherâs plates in the Spanish style is expected and encouraged, and we took full advantage! There is a small range of desserts, again, beautifully prepared and served. We can recommend the cheesecake with fig compote(sounds a bit âho humâ, but not when itâs as well done as this!), and my personal star of the show, âla Brena â. This is a house dish made from local ingredients, and Iâve never tasted anything like it. Itâs a mousse, but with some really unusual textures and flavours, and definitely not to be missed. We were watching other dishes coming out from the charcoal-grill equipped kitchen, and thinking âI want to try thatâ. Weâre going back....
