Our family group of 14 was seated in the top room, lacking atmosphere as the music doesnât play up there, not to mention the fact we felt continually forgotten by wait staff. Having arrived at 6pm, it was 3 hours before our meals arrived, the Brussels sprout salad was burnt. Luckily we had a spare soup due to one of our party having to leave with a small child before the food, they were running so late. They sent up 2 free plates of garlic bread, only 8 pieces for a group of 14 anyway. Manager came up and apologized, but in an angry flustered, Faulty-esque way. Some of us had flown interstate to celebrate a milestone birthday, so we were all very disappointed. 20% off the bill didnât make it right. The locals in the group have said they wonât be back. A big fail.

Up in Coffs Harbour for the week and wanted a good pizza place for the kids and adults. Vinos is a ripper superb pizza and we also had the gnocchi which was beautiful.With dairy intolerant kids the staff where fantastic and varied the orders to suit.

Fiasco has always been synonymous with quality food & great service in Coffs BUT is a tad pricey for a casual dinner. A clever innovation is the weekly 'happy hour special'. 2 nights of the week (Wednesday & Friday, I think), pizzas are just $10 in the casual dining area. 2 nights a week (Tuesday & Thursday, I think) pasta dishes are just $15 compared to prices ranging from $26-36 normally. Drinks are $$$ but when the food price drops, the cocktails and wine are worth the extra.

we stay at the Big windmill motel a lot. This is the first time we have dined in the German restaurant. We went on a Monday night and thought it would be deserted, in fact it was packed at 6.00pm. The inside is a themed restaurant. There were two or three large groups who were having a good time. As we were only two we were placed on a small table up stairs which was fine as we could see what was going on without the noise. Service was a bit slow but we were fed before the big groups which was appreciated
