We were absolutely blown away by this restaurant. The food was exceptional so if you're looking for traditional local food, this is definitely the place. The schnitzels were amazing, asparagus was cooked just right and the steaks were incredible. They also have very lovely wines and great dessert! We had the wine pudding and apple strudel, both were exceptional! Great service and very nice atmosphere. The price was very affordable also, we ate here on two evenings and paid around 40e for two main courses, a few glasses of wine and one dessert.

It's a beautiful place, 10 minutes walk outside the strip /waterfront :) - a very nice restaurant with terrace and a mouthwatering menu was waiting. Friendly and professional waiters, too! Next time in Cochem, we know where to go, it's a Hotel - Restaurant:)

cosy small Restaurant in the oldest House of Cochem. We serve fresh creative dinner with a Young Team
After reading the reviews we were expecting "great" but had "slightly below average".The food was blah, the ambiance exceedingly sleepy and the "family" experience was a little too much as one of the staff's child stood on the stairs crying for his mum and then when we were waiting to order dessert the staff were nowhere to be seen....they were eating their dinner! When they had customers waiting!! Veggie friendly is an exaggeration too...there were maybe three options on the menu, one being salad. Going back? No.

We spent a few days in Cochem. Neos was by far the best restaurant we tried. The servings are beautiful and with a more sophisticated sense than what you see in other variety of restaurants we tried. the taste is brilliant, the interior more minimalistic than the average Cochem restaurant and finally the staff gives you attention. All my recommendations goes to Neos if you are in Cochem.

Hubs and I had a lovely dinner here. It is a about a 10 minute walk uphill from the square but absolutely worth it. We were seated without a reservation. The inside is wonderfully quirky and looks like a cellar. We split a terrific salmon dish (one of the specials). Service was excellent. I highly recommend a visit!

We decided not to eat on our ship and walk into town to find some authentic German food. We were seated promptly by a window overlooking the river. Service was friendly but spotty likely due to our lack of German . Food was good. I was surprised by the potato dumplings. Tasty but unusual consistency.

I have been going here for years. I have never accounted such poor service and attitude from staff. We waited over an hour for food. We will not be returning. I would recommend they invest more customer services training with their staff. Lovely spot which will attract customers.. but...

Fairly authentic Greek fare. Generous portion sizes. Good value for money. The restaurant was busy early evening midweek. Most customers were tourists, from all over Europe. Service could have been faster, but there were only a couple of waiters for at least 50 covers, so they were busy.Maybe an odd choice, but there's only so many times you can have schnitzel.
