Refinement with a buzz: A âBouchon Lyonnaisâ in the heart of traditionnal Kagurazaka Tucked away in the narrow streets of the Kagurazaka district, Lugdunum Bouchon Lyonnais stands on the renowned Honda Yokosho Street, a few steps from the Bishamonten Temp
I went to this place with high expectations...What a let down....Several issues...I really wonder how this place got a Michelin Star... They do not deserve it.... Michelin need to re visit and evaluate again.... Spoils the name...Poor Service.Single Table runner.Curlery old and not polished.Butter was charged.Bread was cold.Service was poor.No one explained the menu or the food.Only lobster and fish were eaten. No fish knife.Dessert spoon was incorrect....Bill was massively incorrect.Everything was over charged...100 percent not recommended...The chef and staff need to visit a top restaurant to know what food, service, quality, etiquette etc is...So disappointed...Massive let down...How I wish I was a judge for the French Company..Not Recommended.Bhagwan.

Creatively composed menus focus on the finest ingredients mainly from across Japan, paying full respect to both the seasons and regional flavours, combined with luxurious attention to detail. The menu also showcases a passion for beef, game, and wild fish

After visiting the Imperial palace east gardens, we were looking for a place for lunch when we came to a large building with advertisements of food & drinks. So we went looked up a couple of floors and finally zeroed on in this cafe located on the seventh floor. The place was packed. As we entered the staff welcomed us with shouts( repeated when we left). There is a set menu of 1000 yen consisting of a salad/ soup, salad/pasta and s choice of soft drinks. The service is fast and friendly. VFM( value for money) at its best.

This restaurant is known as the golden standard of French dishes in town which I appreciated so many times. This time I took risk to have pigeon. Well, it did not work with me. So I would suggest to be conservative in this restaurant unless you are sure about the material and cooking. Then, you will not be disappointed. Service and condition of wine were both very good. It was nice experience.

âVikingâ (buffet) restaurant at one of the most prestigious hotels in Tokyo. Full of local people to enjoy extraordinary dinner experience maybe to celebrate anniversaries. A bit jammed but still get the sense of five star hotels hospitality of Japan. Surprisingly only a few Chinese tourists although there are lots of such guests in the hotel. Food was good as buffet style especially roast beef and very famous Imperial Hotel curry. Lots of desert items and they were very nice. NETT 9,000 yen per pax. 20% discount for hotel guest. Maybe a bit pricey. Good for fancy family dinner for tourists and expats. ãã¼ã¹ããã¼ããã«ã¬ã¼ããã¶ã¼ããç¹ã«ç¾å³ããã£ãã§ããå¸ã®é ç½®ã¯å°ã 窮å±ã§ãããã客ããã¯æ¥æ¬äººã¡ã¤ã³ã§å¤§é¸ã®é¨ãããæ¹ã ãããã£ããããªãã£ãã®ã§ç¹ã«åé¡ããã¾ããã§ããã宿æ³è ãå²å¼ã§7000åç¨ãªãã³ã¹ãã®è¦³ç¹ã§ã¯è¨±å®¹ç¯å²ã§ãã

As the lively all-day dining eatery of Palace Hotel Tokyo, Grand Kitchen can seat up to 162 in three distinctive areas - its lofty main dining room anchored on one end by a show kitchen, its much sought-after outdoor terrace located moat-side, and its mor
Just finished lunch here. Had the lunch express menu;delicious pumpkin soup. Pasta primavera was very mediocre, citrus cheese cake with lemon sorbet was great. Itâs no doubt a luxury hotel, but service failed. Took so long for everything, so much for âexpressâ, had 4-5 different people waiting on us which caused confusion and errors. I asked to see cocktail list for one of the bars after our appetizers were taken and I didnât see that waitress again the rest of our meal. Would not return.Dear Rob B,Many thanks for having taken the time to share your feedback.I was dismayed to have learned that although we succeeded in serving both a pumpkin soup and citrus cheese cake that were to your liking, we disappointed with the main course and completely failed on the service delivery. Iâm very sorry about that. It most certainly shouldnât have been the case that we took an unacceptably long time to serve each course of what should have otherwise been an âExpress Lunchâ, and thereâs absolutely no excuse for us having forgotten altogether your simple request to see a cocktail list. And by our standards, the team of waitstaff serving your table should have functioned seamlessly and expeditiously rather than cause confusion and errors.Rest assured, I have taken to the Grand Kitchen team the areas of concern youâve pointed out for discussion and re-assessment so we can endeavor to avoid a repeat of the disappointment caused. Once again, thank you again for having taken the time to share your thoughts, and please accept our utmost apologies.Yoshinori NishiharaExecutive Assistant ManagerPalace Hotel Tokyo

You have to leave the restaurant at 2pm for lunch time, because they will serve afternoon tea at 2:30pm.They didn't notify (or remind) me, about the above-mentioned arrangement. , from my reservation, and until our main course has arrived (without our instruction. I expected they will start the main course, when we order to serve. But they served suddenly with our negative surprise).I trust they would promote this arrangement after my feedback. We felt so strange that, they would not re-fill the food in the buffet bar at ~ 1:30pm. And I have to request my prefer (& Already no longer refill ) items , to raise to their staff direct. & We personally felt that they are not wiling to provide (But they still provide , just required to wait a bit unreasonable longer time). So, it should be rated "Terrible" in here. However, I'm appreciate their senior leader personally take care this case, after I lodged the complaint to them. So, I rated "Average".Dear Mr. Philip BALL, Thank you very much for dining at MOTIF RESTAURANT & BAR.I deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused since we have failed to properly inform you our lunch hours. Moreover, we are sorry that the buffet items were not well replenished to meet your needs. We realize with deep regrets that there were things that could have been done to ensure your satisfaction.Thank you very much for taking your time to share your experience and thoughts.I promise that all members of MOTIF will take this issue seriously and that it will lead to improved MOTIF.We look forward to the opportunity of welcoming you again.Sincerely yours,Restaurant ManagerTakahiro Misaka

We are a group of friends visiting Tokyo and went to the Chez Olivier for Christmas lunch. We chose it because of what we read about Chef Olivier's approach and were very happy with the experience. The restaurant is cosy, unpretentious, in a quiet part of Tokyo. The focus is on the food which is superb! Our hostess, Aurelie, was wonderful, professional, really good with selecting fabulous wines to accompany our meal. We were fortunate to have Chef Olivier in the kitchen and he came out and spent some time chatting with us and sharing lots of information about Tokyo. We had the Christmas degustation menu and will definitely return. Excellent value for money, and so much more relaxed than many other Michelin-starred establishments we've dined at. Merci encore Chef, aussi a votre equipage, et Aurelie.

Through an apparent miscommunication between our hotel and this restaurant, we were unable to get a table here. Then we were told by the owner that we werenât dressed appropriately...but that wasnât the reason we were refused service. If he hadnât said that, I wouldnât have been bothered. But because he mentioned it - it made me think that was the actual reason. Yes we were dressed like tourists who had been sightseeing all day - because we had been. But we had also traveled the trains for over 30 min to get there. It was terribly frustrating. The owner did make a reservation for us at his other restaurant and gave us a complimentary glass of champagne, which was nice. However the encounter left a bitter taste in my mouth. If you want to eat here, definitely make a reservation and dress for it.
