We sat upstairs at table for two under the cutest window over looking the garden seating. Very Italian feeling and cozy. The restaurant seems to be popular with the locals and large family was seating in same dining area. Most around us were eating pizza. My lasagna was piping cook and very tasty. We ordered the antipasto and ham, salami, and eggplant was excellent. What mostly made an impression on me was the use of glass bottled water which really makes a statement in a country with huge plastic problem. The straw in my husbandâs mojito was stainless steel, BRAVO! We will go back today for pizza.

After a week in Antigua this by far was the best restaurant we attended. My family from out of town, my family, and friends went to brunch at Panza Verde. It was amazing! Everything was delicious! Our eggs benedict with portobello mushrooms were out of this world. Their mimosas are very good. The staff was extremely accommodating. As we were a big group, we needed to shuffle around some tables. There was no problem with doing that. Overall a great experience and will definitely be back!!

The restaurant is in a colonial typical house of Antigua Guatemala. The food is inspired by Belgian cuisine. The service is very good although they could improve the assembly and setting of their tables and cutlery. I recommend the carbonade flamande, really delicious! What I did not love was the tajine, I think there are other more interesting dishes on the menu. The place is nice, the attention of the staff is very good, and decoration has Belgium details. It is a good option to have lunch with friends or family. Prices per main course around $10 and $15.

The menu offers a wide range of bistro options for everyoneâs pocket book. Paninis, salads, and crepes satisfied the 6 members of our group. There was a tour group of 14 that ordered before us but our ordered arrived in a timely fashion. Kodos to the wait staff and kitchen.

After having several expensive and unsatisfying meals recently (during the summer of 2019) in Antigua, it was like coming home to enjoy such genuinely good food at Toscana. The restaurant owner, Claudio, and his maitre'de Ingrid continue to deliver a superb experience. If you are considering having an Italian meal in Antigua, there is nothing in Antigua that beats Toscana - it is on par with the finest Italian restaurants anywhere, globally. Excellent attentive service and wonderful food! Great ambiance. Ordered two starters, specials of the evening and two fabulous desserts. With a bottle of wine, bill came to 900 quetzals. Doesnât feel touristy at all. Menu in English and spanish. Would highly recommend!

Great food and great service in a nice cozy environment.We spent two weeks exploring Guatemala and visiting my mothers side of the family. We ate at a lot of nice restaurants but our dinner at Hectorâs Bistro was my favorite. I had the beef tenderloin medallions with the roasted tomatoes and it was excellent. The meat was extremely tender and flavorful and the sauce was great. My wife and kids also loved their food. I especially want to mention that they made accommodations for my younger daughter who just wanted pasta with butter (something that wasnât on the menu). To me that speaks highly of their service mentality. Weâll be sure to go back the next time we visit Antigua.

Marvin, chef, was by himself on Saturday afternoon, completely welcomed me to the restaurant. Followed up with my broken Spanish, great conversation, great food and no nonsense atmosphere, I can see why this is the number 1 rated place on TA! Canât wait to come back!
