This restaurant deserves to be in the top 10 restaurants in town. The owner trained under Wolfgang Puck, and has managed to use his extensive training to produce quality, creative and memorable dishes. Tonight I had the lamb shank, and kept thinking this would be a $60.00/ entree in the USA. Loads of meat, served with rosemary and wine sauce. 10 +++The desserts are also spectacular, notably the apple crumble w/ ice cream. The restaurant has been decorated with numerous awards, including Tatlers Best.

We don't serve fast food at our small, non-airconditioned restaurant where flavour and service are prioritised over interior design and atmosphere. Sandwiches, salads and breakfast dishes along with locally-sourced coffee and fresh fruit for smoothies. Ou
came here because of all the great reviews. Service was very friendly and we really enjoyed the bread they use....that being said the sandwich itself was just average at best. I had a BLT amd my partner had a club...both had maybe one piece of lettuce and a piece of tomato. Felt like a lot more bread then there was toppings. Satisfied the craving for a western sandwich but if this place was back in the western part of the world they would need to up their sandwich game.Right now in the kitchen we have a co-owner and a staff member that has been here for 3.5 years and I'm utterly certain they would not have dished out anything like you have described. So, I'm going to read your review as though you're stretching the truth to get a point across. However, let's suppose you did only get one piece of lettuce and one piece of tomato. There's no benefit for you to sit there and accept that kind of sandwich... Anywhere. You really ought to speak out to a staff member and get what you pay for.Regarding the "more bread than toppings" angle I'd like to clarify that our view is that bread is not a vehicle for ingredients and it is instead part of the sandwich flavour overall. Too much topping and you no longer taste the bread. We feel there's not much point in paying for excellent bread if you can't taste it. Our prices are linked to ingredient costs and if you want more you simply ask us for more and we add it to your bill. Couldn't be easier. If you prefer that your food comes pre-stuffed by default then there are plenty of other restaurants that forgo flavour balance and aim for bulk.At the time of writing I can safely say we've served over 10,000 sandwiches to Western people and you're the first to complain about our topping to bread ratio. So, perhaps those people agreeing with you have been nice and accepted a poorly made sandwich without complaint or your opinion about what makes a good sandwich isn't universal.

Shame that hotel foyer is nearly part of the restaurant. When making the reservation mentioned it was a 65th birthday dinner. However only when one of the guests asked the staff if they could put a candle on a dessert was anything done to celebrate the fact which was disappointing.Food was a bit hit and miss with some dishes like chefs pizza and lasagna being excellent but other noodle dishes only so so.Given the prices was disappointed.Dear sirThank you very much for your excellent feedback and kindly share on tripadvisor, but I am sorry to hear that we were not achieved the most satisfaction from you on your 65 birthday, and it didn't sound like our standard, anyway can you tell me more detail or even come to our restaurant next time and lets me know fro the mail below, I will make it up for you as our complimentary please. we will keep up all the good work and look forward to welcome you again soon.Thank youPhubase C.Executive [email protected]

This little restaurant was an unplanned visit but an absolutely gem of a find. Open kitchen with quick service. Staff were very attentive including chef, I checked in a couple of times to make sure my meal and dining experience was to my liking. I ate pescatarian, with a asparagus/mushroom entree and a tilapia stack for the main. Flavor was exquisite, did not expect to find this flavor at this price.Accompanying salad bar we also a nice touch. Highly recommend and at this price point cannot imagine finding anything better. Thanks âEat Is Lifeâ for this fantastic dining experience! Wishing you all the best.

Romantic french restaurant with a lovely indoor dining room. We are open for dinner from Monday to Saturday from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
I was visiting family in Chiang Mai and it was one of our last nights there. My brother suggested David's Kitchen to celebrate my aunt's birthday and also to mark the end of our visit. We can't say enough about our dinner! The restaurant is beautifully decorated. I wish I had time to sit in the bar and have a drink. The food was delicious, and coming from the San Francisco Bay area, where we really do enjoy eating I mean that wholeheartedly.

As a family we eat here every visit to Chiang Mai. Menu has wide variety of dishes although couldn't see penne arrabiata (my favourite) this year. Friendly service (Stefano always greets you as you enter) and food is yummy but not as cheap as previous years....
