Beautiful setting on a lake,in a city park where one can do all kinds of water sports or some strolling,walking,running around the lake a carousel available for children,let's not forget to mention,great food that can be enjoy outside or inside,some entertainment on weekend and a great service.

Made very welcome. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice choice of food, large portions and excellent service.Desserts went down a treat.Quite a large restaurant, you can sit outside or inside.Free wifi is available, has s large screen TV and clean toilets!Would recommend.

We weren't sure what to expect from this restaurant, as the reviews so far are mixed.We needn't have worried though, as everything was fine.The food good. The serving staff, friendly and efficient. We found the atmosphere relaxing and the decor warm and modern.We would definitely return again.

The atmosphere was good, the food was lovely and "British", the service was friendly and there was lots of choices in beer. We where just for one night nearby, but if we're ever close again we'll come back here. We had the 4 fromages burger and the fish and chips and they were both delicious. Especially the chips/fries were great!

This was our first time at this restaurant since it took over from "The Piano".The decor is chic and modern. Some good choices on the menu which are changed every few months, with food being artistically presented. Quantities are just right. We left feeling full but not bloated.The only down side here being the service. Only one person had a starter, yet the other mains were served at the same time as this starter. Also,all but one dessert orders had been chosen at the same time as the main choice, leaving one to decide later. After the mains, the already chosen desserts were served,by the time the last order was to be taken the rest had finished. So deceived to go without!I'm hoping this is an unusual occurrence as the place is obviously very popular and everything else was fine. Hence the four stars.

On a Tuesday evening...really?? We had made reservation, sat down at 7.30 main course arrived at 9pm...really?? Pork too chewy for me, couldn't taste much garlic in sauce.Disappointing overall after reading good reviews. Industrial decor is quirky but possibly a bit cold looking. Aimed at the 20-30 clubbing market. Food was good, although not exactly as described on the menu.Service was very good. It was quiet when we visited, especially for a saturday evening.It has more of a bar atmosphere than that of a restaurant.

We found this restaurant down small street, we were greeted warmly by a pleasant and friendly young man, we climbed a wooden spiral staircase and was seated on a lovely open terrace. The service was faultless and attentive. When the food arrived we taken a back by the quality and presentation. Both starter and main course was outstanding , the best meal we have had so far on a three week road trip through Spain and France, eating at restaurants every day.. This is a restaurant you must not miss if you are staying in Chateauroux.

First time I have eaten at this restaurant as a recommendation from colleagues. I was not disappointed. Beautifully prepared food in a very chic restaurant. The staff were very friendly, especially the proprietress. Very knowledgeable and fully fluent in English. Next time I go to Chateauroux I will visit again.
