As a rule, we do not usually eat at hotel restaurants when we have a choice. However, this one was recommended to us, and it was well worth it as we enjoyed a good meal in a friendly setting.

Very nice local restaurant with perfect kitchen. We were a group of 6 and all of us had different plates. All of them were very nice. And of course, the desserts were very nice and tasty also. Price very reasonable, staff very friendly. Can recommend!

What a find! We fell in love with this restaurant! Not touristy. Not too far from the airport, everything was fantastic and the price is reasonable. The decoration is modern, the service is impeccable and the food is not only well presented but the quantity is huge! Desserts are to die for. They are open on weekends which is rare in Lyon and surrounding suburbs. Better make reservations as it's always full!

Our restaurant Le Cocon is at your disposal anytime of the day, enjoying the sun on our terrace with view of the lake Extend your experience while sampling the à la carte menu of our Chef, Laurent Lecompte, who works with fresh and seasonal produce that c
At the end of a long day this was a move reprieve The service was excellent the food simple but well prepared and tasted excellent The wine selection was great and matched the food exactly I had the tuna with vegetables very good simple the ingredients were left to do the talking raged than any heavy sauces My only complaint the creme brûlée , there was no crack on the caramelised sugar top and average one reallyDear guest,Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with us. What a pleasure to read all these compliments! I am truly glad to share your review with our Chef Laurent Lecompte and his team who are very touched to receive such high praise. He is proud to work with fresh and local products. We even own our vegetables garden, in collaboration with Lyon Metropolis and two others companies. Be assured that I take good note of your comment concerning dessert and I transmitted it to our pastry chef Stéphane Roque.I look forward to welcoming you again on your next visit.Kind regards,Pauline M, community manager

I went there by default for a business lunch since there is almost no other "appropriate" places around to eat at noon. It was a nightmare to get serve fast (they told us it was a bad moment since they had only 3 cooks instead of 5 on regular basis), my colleagues ordered red beef meats which was totally not cooked the way they asked (one of us did send back her plate for a change). As a pro-vegetarian I've myself struggled three times with the waitress to get a real plate of vegetables, and not a small portion of vegetables sidedish (three ridiculous pieces of potatoes and two spoon of ratatouille). For that I had to wait way longer than my colleague who ordered regular meal, which is insane when you know how fast sidedish are prepared compared to meat/fish there. The place may looks nice from the outside, and they have, indeed a nice view on the airport, however for a business lunch I'm not going there for the landscape, I expect good services and proper meals, and we didn't get any. I challenge the manager of the restaurant to improve the service in the kitchen (please hire the missing cooks, it was a real mess) and ask your crew to be more open and good listener to your customer. Eventually, consider having at least one veggie/vegan dish with no animal product in it so people with dairy/eggs allergy and non-meat eater could enjoy your place without having to ask for a favor when ordering à vegetables plates. We expect so much more creativity and improvisation from French cuisine, and we got something very disappointing in your restaurant compared to all the many good and correct reviews you have in TripAdvisor. We apologize not to be a veggie place but we get your message. Be sure that we try to do our best to satisfy everybody. And we hope to see you again in best conditions.L'Assiette restaurant

During a business trip in Lyon my French college showed me this lovely restaurant. The food was really good. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. There was no menu in English so my colleague had to translate since I unfortunately donât speak French. I absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Our first meal on this trip to France and a very good choice! We were staying in the Best Western and decided to give the on-site restaurant a try. Both meals were cooked to perfection, one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Prices were not too bad by French standards!
