Reviews on European food in Cesme, Izmir Province, Turkey. Cesme attracts all types of surfers from all over the world: wind surfers, kite surfers, surf surfers. If you can surf it, you’ll probably want to surf it in Cesme. This resort town on the Aegean Coast is all about the water. Even the 16th-century Cesme Castle is a stone’s throw from the sapphire sea. The beaches are golden, the ocean is warm, and the atmosphere is posh but friendly.

In the square of Alaçatı, a fine dining restaurant serving all year long with seasonal selections of fish, meat, pasta and risotto and a wide range of wine cellar including regional, national and international wines. Second floor is for those who wants to
A good looking menu packed with local dishes and seafood in a fishing village is an excellent start. However overall it failed to live up to expectations: - Starters weren't too bad, beets with cinnamon were tasty but not inspiring, beans with citrus peel were the best. - For mains we went with fish, a salmon fillet with a carrot purée and a "scorpion fish" risotto. The salmon was good but lacking significant flavour, despite it's excellent presentation. The risotto was a sad affair consisting of a large plate of quite bland rice and a small sliver of fish, extremely disappointing.Overall definitely not worth the money, despite recommendation by our hotel! There are plenty of other restaurants where you can get more for the same cost.
What a nice unique place. Food excellent and also one of the best coffee in Alacati. I loved the wooden tables and the decor nicely done. Staff very friendly and helpful. I had a burger it was so tasty. Hopefully we will going back there next year to spend more time.

We ate here every night of our holiday and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Sitting outside and watching the world go by. The owner and his staff were very pleasant and welcoming, I would recommend this place.

Petit Coin is something a little different from the usual Cesme cafes, which are fine but a bit samey. It offers a varied menu that in some cases leans to an Asian flavour, though there is something for everybody, from an enormous, home made cheese burger to a steak or chicken wrap, to a fillet steak and even a tasty selection of noodle and pasta dishes. Most dishes come with a helping of chunky/spicy chips (hot and crispy dry) at least, sauces, and a choice of a soft drink included in the price. Expect to pay 3-10GBP per head for an excellent meal. Alcoholic drinks are also very reasonable and compare favourably with other cafes and restaurants, and with probably more variety. They have a cocktail menu for those who wish to indulge in something a bit more special. The venue is reminiscent of a small French Bistro and is set back very slightly from the busy harbour and trip boats. Sit outside and watch the world pass by, or sit inside where, in addition to the more formal table and dining chairs, they offer comfortable sofas, and an open fire to cozy you, in the cooler months. The service and staff attention/friendliness, for us, is very good. We have no complaints at all. A great bonus to us, is also that they will deliver locally, free of charge, very quickly and unspoiled, which fits in with our lifestyle.Well done, Petit Coin, and compliments to the Chef!!!!

This was highlight of our visit to Alaçatı. Although one of the more expensive meals weâve had in Turkey, it was well worth the splurge. The inviting atmosphere had delightful old world charm. Enzo made one of the best meals we have ever had. Thank for a memorable evening!

Since we have a 2 years old daughter, my wife and I try to find the cleanest, friendliest, and safest environments when choosing a restaurant or cafe.1850 Cafe fulfilled all our expectations, since the breakfast was prepared with fresh ingredients, and the sitting area is next to a small garden where small children can safely play around. The waiters were all friendly, and did their best to accommodate our special needs because of our small child. Definitely and truly recommended!

My family and I have enjoyed eating at Agrilia Restaurant since the first day it opened some years ago and have always appreciated and relished their excellent food and very sincere service. The food is always prepared with the freshest ingredients and cooked by the owner, Melih Bey, who always is passionate about the meals he prepares. The dishes are usually simple but absolutely exquisite. The team that he works with are the most sincere, helpful and motivated. I have read some of the recent reviews and I actually found them to be extremely untrue and unfair. Gurkan Bey is one of the most candid and professional managers, both ethical and welcoming. So when one makes a reservation solely with only the first name, the culprit here is that person who doesn't know the correct way of making a reservation at a restaurant. This rule is valid all over the world. As for the meat being inedible... this is completely unacceptable. Our guests and family have eaten meat at Agrilia for many many years and we have never encountered such problems. I have been a diner at Agrilia for over a decade and I hope to follow Agrilia on whatever culinary journey they may embark on. This restaurant deserves to be appreciated and given the recognition of being one of the finest and memorable establishments of Alaçatı.

We went there with family and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of the garden. In Alacati, most of the restaurants put tables just next to each other and you feel yourself like you are sitting on a cinema chair. But this restaurant is set more comfortable as the tables have quite enough distance with each other. The variety of wines on their menu is really amazing and they have high quality rare local wines. The steamed sea food was good but the fried seafood we ordered for starters was not tasty enough as they had not fried it in fresh oil. The price / quality level is very good though. I would go there again.

Although the single waitress was making every effort,I give this place 2 stars. The atmosphere is completely unbalanced, looks like an old art depot rather than a restaurant. The paintings on the wall are not the best choice for a pizzeria. They really scare you.The menu was presented in the ugliest form possible. You expect the management of this place to care more about these details. The akdeniz pizza is very simple, doesnt taste so good. I really wouldnt visit this place again to eat. Its located on high street, ok for a drink but the food is quite average.

Preparing pastries, breads, toasts, sandwiches, pies and other baked goods is our responsibility. We welcome you to our friendly environment to enjoy a delicious breakfast in Karfas, Chios.
I have tried their bougatsas in the morning - kasseri and fetta cheese as well as the sweet one with cream. All really fresh and delicious. Tried also some sweets and ice cream. Also highly recommended, especially their ice cream which as we have been told is made by them. They also have a great variety of savory and sweet waffles and pancakes to select from. The place is also very clean and nicely decorated.
