We ate here and had drinks the following night. Food is great. The gnocchi were delicious and the desserts were very nice. Cocktails were good and staff were very friendly and attentive. All in all a great 2 nights spent in an eclectic Sicilian city.

Just reading the menu is enjoyable; and then be brave when deciding on one of the craft cocktails with an amazing list of ingrdinece. Or simply talk to the bartenders and explain your preferences and those experts will indeed fixe you YOUR cocktail (pre or post dinner) which can be enjoyed in many ways: The taste, the scent, the looks supported by the ambient bar (music and atmosphere). All in all: a PERFECT 5-star experience!Watch them do the âWorkâ and realize how many tine steps are required to create a âhandmade / craftâ drink. And then think about all those hastily made cocktails you had before. What I mean to say is: If you wan to enjoy a prefect cocktail âcollageâ is THE place to be⦠a quick cocktail might be found somewhere else too, but it wonât be the sameWell, we didnât try the appetizers from the menu (sorry⦠but we planned to go for dinner afterwards a we all were afraid that we would have to cancel the reservation at the restaurant The bar has a cosy lighting (better bring e-reader rather than a paper book) and about eight seats at small tables and another eight at the bar. Cosy and small, but for sure the maximum number of guest, to ensure that each drink is made with care, love, and sufficient time. We were amazed on our first visit and came back (Sunday evening) to check on the quality and service again. Perfect! Welcomed with a smile, friendly and quick service and (most important) again perfect cocktails. (tried 8 different ones in two visits. And most likely, I will be back⦠in a few days ;-)Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a long and beautiful message on our cocktail bar. Visited for lunch and ordered a calamari fritti for starter and four plates of pasta to follow (one vongole, two frutti di mare, one norma).Were given four pieces of bruschetta and complimentary bread.The calamari were good.My husband did not like the tomato sauce in the pasta Norma but maybe this is the way it is done in Sicily.My vongole pasta was good, though the sauce was a bit too runny and oily, wish the pasta was tossed in a bit earlier so it would have amalgamated with the sauce better.The portions are very abundant and prices reasonable.

It is definitely the dinner we were looking for ... Catania really offers good food .. but this place is at the top .. very kind staff, we got a mixture of appetizers: mussels, seafood salad, fried fish (which I have to say was from an absolute goodness) and several raw fish, including very good oysters. as first courses we have taken the tuna carbonara and the linguine with sea urchins, cheese cake and Sicilian cannoli have closed our dinner perfectly .. congratulations to Giuseppe who has lovingly provided us with .. highly recommended. Tho pearl is hidden only one step from the famous Barocco street Via dei Crociferi. I was lucky to get a seat for lunch when I visited, as the place was packed with locals.The menu is written in Italian, but the owner will translate for you. The food is excellent and the service first class. It's a pity I was only in Catania for one day as I would have loved to have eaten here again.

Freshly caught and grilled sea-bream is hard to beat, my daughter had the black gnocchi, I the fish, and with two glasses of excellent Cal. Poggio di Venere Grillo, we were more than happy. The decor is completely kitsch, but the staff are friendly, the service impeccable. Will certainly return!

We just discovered this cozy restaurant by walking through the Market in Piazza Carlo Alberto. We liked the outdoor, the dishes written on a black board and we decided to come for dinner. The atmosphere is authentic and the design very well finished. The owner welcomed us warmly and gave us the best table next to the window. Thanks to his genuine advice, we had a big tasting plate of typical fish appetizers, a beautiful tuna with Tropea candied onions, Swordfish involtini and a succulent Tortino with warm heart of pistachio cream! Delicious!The choice of the wine as well was perfect thanks to Antonioâs advice. We talked with him about our trip in Sicily and he gave us nice suggestions! We really had great time and great food!
