I have not eaten here for seven months so it was a pleasure to return. The presentation of the menu has changed as have some of the prices and dishes but the quality was arguably better than ever.Delicious âamuse boucheâ, succulent scallops and tasty salmon tartare for starters. The Sea Bass was fresh and beautifully prepared and washed down with an unusual but excellent Verdejo wine. We declined desserts but enjoyed a few â petits foursâ. We had some coffee. The bill was incredibly reasonable. Overall a great experience.

A typical Catalan restored old building in Quart town, next to Girona city (3 minutes). Catalan and Mediterranean cuisine, like barbecue, snails "a la llauna" or signature desserts. Proximity food, daily menu and sunny terrace are some of our identity.
Been there for a quick business dinner, very nice and welcoming place with discrete and professional service. Had a good dish of Iberico and codfish filet as main course with a good white wine.Would definitely return if in the areaDear customer,We are very happy to read your affectionate words as we love to have obtained your full satisfaction in your visit to our restaurant.Whenever you want this is your home, greetings and thank you very much.

Catalan Restaurant. You will find us in Llagostera, between Girona and the Costa Brava. Enviroment known for its gastronomy, the snails, mushrooms, wine and amazing landscapes. We believe that dedication, creativity, love and lots of fun are essential to
Amy used to go to Can Panedes quite often when she lived here but this was the first time that she had taken us all there. It was well worth the visit. It is apparently still owned and run by the same family who have invested in the premises, smartening them up considerably. A lovely welcome and a nice table greeted us. The tinto de la casa came from the fridge and was perfect. The menu has a good selection of tapas for starters. The mains cover steaks, chops, home made sausage as well as fidewas and the like. puddings included a fabulous puff pastry millefeuille with a delicious chocolate sauce. This is a very good restaurant serving comfort food in delightful surroundings and well worth trying if you are passing.

My partner and I had dinner in this restaurant on 31st October during a weeks' holiday on the Costa Brava. We found it on Trip Advisor and decided to drive inland, away from the tourist traps, to find a better dining experience.Locating the place isn't easy, it's down a side street a hundred metres from the central town square. We were the first customers in on a Friday night at 8.00pm. The host cum chef made us feel most welcome, and gave us a very good impromptu English translation of each dish on his fixed dinner menu, which was excellent value at around 20 Euros per person for three courses including a bottle of wine and bread, plus a little tapas appetiser. The choice of food was excellent, as was the quality. I had a starter of black beans and local sausage in sauce, followed by a main course of wild boar stew. My partner had a spectacular anchovy and goat's cheese salad, followed by veal in a rich sauce. Following dessert, we had coffees and two of the largest glasses of liquer (including brandy for me) you have ever seen. The total bill, including two beers beforehand, came to 51.50 Euros. Fantastic welcome, fantastic food and drink, fantastic value, pleasant surroundings. All in all, an excellent experience.

It's always a good sign when you pull into a restaurant car park and there are lots of cars there. Especially when it's situated in the middle of nowhere. We would never have known about it, had it not been for Trip Advisor, but we seemed to be the only people who found out about it that way. Everyone else seemed local, including a big table of about 20 Mossos d'Esquadra (the local police force) in full uniform. I always take this as a good sign of how good a place is.It's mostly Argentinian food, with a few local adjustments. A Choripan, which is supposed to be Argentinian Chorizo inside bread, had a Butifarra sausage instead, but was none the worse for that. Like most proper Argentinian restaurants, it had dishes like Pasta on the menu, but no Milanesa (escalopes) or Matambre (a rolled pork dish). The empanadas were delicious, and the croquettes the best we've tasted in a long time. But the high spot of the meal was the meat. Tira de Asado, Vacio and Entrana were on offer, the latter a huge piece of tender Skirt steak cooked to perfection. Now the amazing thing about this place is the price. All the above, plus dessert, many of which were home-made, were all part of a Menu del Dia at â¬18 (December 2014). There were a few extra charges (there were five flavours of ice creams included, but Dulce de Leche Ice Cream, which is compulsory in any visit to an Argentinian restaurant, was â¬2 extra. The Menu included a starter, main course and dessert, wine and coffee and represents extraordinary value for money when you consider the quality of the cooking.

A friend and I visited on a recommendation, "Try the cod brandade, it's to die for!" So we did and we were delighted with our menu of the day, with the cod brandade.. The chef took our order and with little persuasion was happy to add this dish to our order - a creamy fishy mousse, not too salty, topped by a crispy grilled apple topping served with hot toast. Delish! We will be back to try the a la carte.
