Capri is pure romance—dramatic views, the bluest ocean you’ve ever seen, even the scent of lemon blossoms in the air. The luminescent Blue Grotto, striking Faraglioni Rocks and the Palazzo al Mare are popular with travelers, but for a real treat, snorkel at Marina Piccola beach. It’s said to be the spot where Odysseus nearly succumbed to the Sirens’ song… a fitting legend for this alluring island.

Villa Jovis was the large villa where the Emperor Tiberius spent his stay in Capri. In this majestic imperial residence that is designed today the restaurant Villa Jovis, a place where you can sample the finest Mediterranean cuisine surrounded by arches,
My expectations were pretty high after reading all these amazing reviews, but unfortunately the place didnât quite meet them. The view was very nice, but the food was average at best and wine wasnât my favourite either. The male waiters were very friendly and welcoming, but the girl who served us didnât smile even once and spoke only the stuff she absolutely must say, nothing else at all (note: we are Finns so we donât mind the lack of small talk, but this was next level quietness). We ate tiramisu for dessert and that was excellent though. The place wasnât crazy expensive either, which was nice. The atmosphere was a little bit ruined by some guys who were maybe watching football or downing shots, I donât know what they were doing but it was very loud anyway.

We had dinner here while staying at the hotel and it was amazing. There are views from every table and the food is impeccable, as well as the service. My husband had the fish and I had the pasta. Both were wonderful and we would definitely recommend!

Just love this restaurant. Been here several times now over the last 6 years (we had our wedding breakfast here back in 2013), the food is always fabulous, the menu is very varied, the service is friendly and leisurely, can't recommend this place highly enough. The owners Holly and Gianluca are a lovely, engaging couple who work very well together.

Guests are welcomed by Vincenzo and his wife Brunella, who, for decades, have been running this gem of a 4 star hotel. From the moment they enter the reception lobby, guests know they have chosen the perfect place in which to experience the timeless charm
I had dinner here on 10 Sept 2019. I have been to Capri 5 times now and I have always wanted to come for dinner at sunset but on my own I did not want to go - always hoping one day I would be dining with the love of my life. Finally, I booked it. On my own. The restaurant was great in understanding that I wanted a table in an unobtrusive position - and I got the perfect table for me. Dinner was stupendous!!! More than I expected. The view over the town, the Brunella pool area and out to the ocean was breathtaking at sunset. The candlelight as the sun went down was just gorgeous - like a Hollywood setting. This would be your dream venue for a small wedding if you only had 50 or 60 people. Mark my words, I'm coming back for my wedding. One day. I ordered the paccheri pasta tubes with prawns and mussels (huge portion and it was delicious) and the whole Dorata fish, nicely filleted on and served on to my plate. Yes the fish was very expensive but lovely. Food was deliciously Capri - good hearty portions (ie not Michelin-style morsels). I had red wine, I had dessert wine - my fave, Passito/Pantellaria and I wish I had room for dessert I could not eat one more bite! The service was as you expect - very good. I would give food 9/10 and ambience 11/10 so it gets full marks in my book!Dear YasmineinSydney,I thank you very much for your review and very glad that you enjoyed the dinner on our Terrazza.I hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again in the next trip to Capri.Kindest RegardsGianni Grandini

Great hospitality, great food well presented, and finally an excellent pastry.
This place is amazing. Everything was perfect. Service food and drink. The egg plant balls were great. The rack of lamb so good and flavorful. The tiramisu might be the best Iâve ever had. Donât pass it up.

We recently had lunch here, a great recommendation by the taxi driver that dropped us to this part of Capri. Welcomed by a lovely smile. Maria was an excellent hostess, really took care of us. Food, wine and views were amazing. Great hospitality and a huge thank you to Maria.

We were trying to get away from all the terrible tourist food in the square for a good meal, and we certainly found in here! The views from this beach club are incredible, and the waves crashing are a lovely soundtrack for the meal. The food and service were outstanding, I wish we had had time to return for another meal!
