Probably one of the best restaurant in the area.Even though, it looks like a typical Spanish bar and nothing fancy, you will get surprise once you taste the food. Great presentation by the chef introducing the menu, we had the weekend menu and it was delicious, ventresca tuna salad, octopus, chicken teriyaki as starters and then a varied of main courses, duck confit, cod,sea bass, piglet and ox meat done over stone. It was delicious.Def we will come back.

Great food with attentive service within this gem of a restaurant.Main courses were a forerib steak cooked to perfection, my wife had pork tenderloin, again looked and tasted fantastic. Dessert was a rich chocolate dessert that would delight any chocolate dessert lover. Wine selected by waiter matched meal well.Would love to return there again.

Nice waiter and the food was very good and fine. Better spend a bit more and choose from the menu in stead of the meal for 12 eur. The watermelon sorbetto was simply great!

Here, where heaven and earth never meet, lies the vast plain of Campo de San Juan. A seemingly endless space where one can recreate the senses and have a rest from the journey, while running one's eyes over the infinite outline and nuances of this land fu
As a writer, I found this perch above the valley with a windmill to my right inspiring. I spent an afternoon here writing, sipping coffee and enjoying a fresh salad. My complete lack of Spanish did not deter my waiter from being a gracious host. Definitely check out the delightful restaurant in the cave! Added value: they are dog friendly and provided a bucket of water for my cavalier.

.....such a nice place for lunch in such a small town? We stopped here because it was very conveniently midway between Toledo and Cuenca and because the restaurant shares a parking lot with a few windmills, which were worth seeing but much less spectacular than those in Consuegra. It's a bit difficult to find, as it's at the back side of town, but the view from the top of the town and the very high quality food/decor made it worth the effort. Would have given it 5 stars if the service had been a bit quicker and more enthusiastic, and if they hadn't let a few children run around making noise part of the time. Oh, and the parking lot isn't paved, so beware. If you're in this area and looking for a higher end dining experience, this is a good bet!
